  • Erin is a Rotten Tomatoes approved critic, as well as a member of GALECA: The Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics and the Critics Association of Central Florida.
  • She has reviewed dozens of movies for various online publications, and has attended major film festivals such as Sundance, SXSW, and TIFF (where she got to be in the same room as Steven Spielberg).
  • Her dog of dubious breed mixture, whom she will never stop talking about, is named after Wes Craven.


Erin M. Brady is a film lover, journalist, and critic hailing from the Sunshine State. Outside of /Film, her work can be seen on The Daily Beast, Fangoria, Ebert Voices, Vulture, Little White Lies, and Collider. Four films that describe her the most are Carrie, Moulin Rouge!, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and Perfect Blue.


Erin has a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies from Flagler College, focusing most of her studies on the sociopolitical messages behind horror movies.
