Odessa A'zion's Best Cool-Girl Style Moments So Far
Every once in a while, an actor comes along who has something about them that sets them apart from everyone else. For example, there's no denying that the 1990s belonged to cool girl Chloë Sevigny, and more recently, we've seen similar trajectories with people like Zendaya and Lena Dunham, the latter of whom has a memoir coming out in 2026 that you'll want to add to your TBR. But before 2025 finished up, there was another person who seemed destined to take the reins of being an "It" girl for a bit: Odessa A'zion.
Although A'zion has had a handful of small roles, it was the release of "Marty Supreme" and HBO's "I Love LA" — both in 2025 — that garnered A'zion some major attention. Not only because she's a talented actor, but when it comes to cool-girl style moments, every time A'zion leaves the house, she slays. It doesn't matter if she's wearing jeans and a T-shirt or vintage Alexander McQueen; this is a woman who knows how to put a look together. Even her amazing hair has become a talking point.
"I've been told about that," A'zion told Deadline at the 2026 Critics' Choice Awards when asked if she was aware of the online forums that are all about her hair. "There's a whole debate, 'Is it a wig? Is it not?' I guess we'll never know. No, I'm kidding." After explaining that wigs are extremely expensive, A'zion added that she doesn't even have a stylist or someone to do her hair or makeup at the moment. In other words, the cool-girl style that A'zion serves is 100% her own doing.
Giving New York City a run for its money in coolness
It's not easy looking effortlessly chic in oversized, distressed jeans and a woefully oversized jacket that would be frumpy on most people. Yet here is Odessa A'zion doing just that on the streets of New York City in December 2025. We can't even tell if she's rocking one of the hot heel trends of fall 2025 or shower flip-flops, and she still looks flawless. A'zion just has a vibe that's difficult to describe; something to do with her covetable natural curly hair. There are probably a lot of secrets in those locks.
Embracing the comeback of '90s fashion
While actors from other generations may feel it necessary to dress up for any and every event, as a member of Gen Z, Odessa A'zion is proving that things are different now. While in the press room for "Until Dawn" at WonderCon 2025 at the Anaheim Convention Center in March 2025, A'zion looked as though she was embracing more than a few of the '90s trends that made a comeback in fall 2025, or like she just rolled out of bed. No matter the reason behind the choices made for this look, the oversized everything isn't just comfy, but A'zion makes it super fashionable.
Perfecting the topless blazer look
If you ever wanted to pull off a topless blazer moment and want to be risky about it, then take note of Odessa A'zion at the Los Angeles premiere of "Marty Supreme" in December 2025. Rocking an oversized dark gray pantsuit by Marc Jacobs with white socks and forest green bedazzled shoes, A'zion literally showed us how to make this entire ensemble happen and look fearlessly confident in the process. As daring as the pantsuit with its open blazer was, to say the least, A'zion had her hair styled in an old-Hollywood glamour way (which was actually a wig), creating two contrasting eras, which added quite a bit of sophistication to the equation.
Making monochromatic look edgy
In April 2025, Odessa A'zion attended the influencer screening — because those are a thing now — of her film "Until Dawn." For the screening, A'zion again took the baggy route with an oversized button-up shirt worn as a jacket, matching white pants with a scorpion belt, and a black top. While not even remotely fancy, it was a super cool twist on a monochromatic look for a winning outfit when you want to be low-key about things. A'zion elevated the ensemble by leaning into cuffs, bangles, rings, and, of course, her septum piercing.
Rocking vintage Alexander McQueen
When Odessa A'zion attended the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March 2025, she brought her A-game when it came down to her fashion choices. For starters, she rocked a vintage Alexander McQueen look from the 2003 Spring/Summer collection, consisting of a black leather vest top that delivered a sultry vibe, while the black menswear pants offered a contrasting energy that really worked. From first glance, it looked like A'zion kept things simple with her accessories, but when she lifted up her pant leg for the paparazzi, she revealed something you don't see on the red carpet very often: "Goonies" socks starring Sloth. Did A'zion just become our newest fashion inspiration? Heck yes, she did.
Proving oversized is the best way to go
If ever there was a celebrity pushing the oversized clothes revolution, it's Odessa A'zion. In June 2024, A'zion attended a screening of "Fresh Kills" and arrived basically swimming in a teal-colored T-shirt and jeans. While in another era or generation, this might appear sloppy and lazy, right now, it's a sign of where fashion is headed. "I definitely think the pandemic has had an impact on the widespread adoption of oversized styles and fit," assistant professor of fashion studies at St. John's University, Emma McClendon, told Harper's Bazaar in January 2024. "We became so used to the feel of comfort in our clothing during the height of lockdowns and work-from-home that it changed our sense of fit and feel, and the haptic relationship between our bodies and our clothing."
Showcasing a plunge of all plunges
For the "Fresh Kills" premiere at the 2023 Tribeca Festival, Odessa A'zion opted for a full-length silver gown with a neckline that plunged almost right down to her belly button. As we saw in 2023, underboob-baring outfits were a big trend, and this is just another take on that. While some may fear such a bold approach — especially if they skip using an adhesive to keep the dress in place — A'zion is not one of those people. In fact, more of us should be embracing such a fashion risk, no matter our age. You only live once, and if you want to share your cleavage — or more — with the world, then there's really no time like the present.
Pulling off androgynous chic
In early December 2025, Odessa A'zion attended The Hollywood Reporter's annual Women in Entertainment Gala and, based on her look, was probably the most comfortable one in the room. Although seeing A'zion in oversized pieces is definitely nothing new, the sweater, the shirt, and the pants really outdid themselves in the largeness department. What's also great is she kept the outfit chic by sticking to the color of the season — black — but gave just enough color with the button-up green shirt to prevent any monotony. This is something that someone with such dark hair is likely to be cognizant of to avoid appearing goth or emo, when their personal style is anything but that.
Swimming in Loewe in Paris
In 2013, something very important happened in the fashion world: designer Jonathan Anderson was appointed creative director of Loewe. Founded in 1846, Loewe desperately needed Anderson to breathe new life into the brand, and that's exactly what he did. During his tenure, which ended in early 2025, Loewe garnered a huge following among celebrities and anyone who has an appreciation for fashion. Odessa A'zion became one of those fans, as evidenced by her attendance at the Loewe Menswear Fall/Winter 2024-2025 in January 2024. If ever there were a cool-girl style moment, it's rocking head-to-toe Loewe leather on the streets of Paris while wearing white sunglasses à la Kurt Cobain.
Wearing her politics on her sleeve — so to speak
Nothing says cool-girl style like someone who isn't afraid to be outspoken about their values and political standing — something that, to no surprise, Odessa A'zion has done. In June 2022, at the premiere of "Good Girl Jane" at the Tribeca Film Festival, A'zion showed up on the red carpet with barrel-style black pants, a shimmery tank top, and open-toed sandals. A'zion also had "ovaries over politics" written on her arm, making her one of several celebrities who have taken a political stand on the red carpet. At the time, Roe v. Wade was just a couple of weeks away from being overturned, and due to a leaked document, it was already clear how the Supreme Court was going to vote.
