A lilac pedicure also offers more versatility than you might think, as the pastel-leaning shade is cool enough to work in fall/winter but light enough for spring/summer.

Purple nail polish was crowned the new neutral manicure color for 2024, but its popularity didn't end there. Though blue may not have a reputation for being the most flattering on all skin tones, you can't go wrong with a baby blue pedicure. Celebrity manicurist Elle Gerstein told Elle U.K. that just a glimpse at your blue toes will make you feel happier regardless of the season too. "Soft pastels are dopamine enhancing," she explained while describing this polish as "universally flattering." Baby blue is particularly ideal for those who like to make more of a statement with their nails, because it's not vibrant enough to clash with your outfits, but it's still somewhat daring.

While that makes this color particularly perfect for spring and summer, that doesn't mean it has to go to the back of your nail polish box when the weather takes a turn. Because of its cooler undertones, light blue can work as a wintery, frosty, snowy shade on all skin shades. The light pink hue is similar to the color of the nailbed, so it gives a more neutral/natural aesthetic that won't detract from your light, medium, or dark skin tone. It also won't create such a high contrast that it clashes with your skin's cool, warm, or neutral undertones. Blush pink is super sophisticated, clean, and minimalistic as well, so can be worn year-round and with any outfit. It's particularly perfect for those who are on constantly the go, because it will look just as stunning at a formal wedding as it will while doing a grocery shop.
