What My Two Dads Star Staci Keanan Looks Like Decades After The Show
Among the many enjoyable sitcoms dominating the late '80s, "My Two Dads" was one of the more iconic ones. Who could forget the character of Nicole Bradford, whose heartwarming hijinks and coming-of-age story was a regular fixture of TV screens from 1987 to 1990. Played by the talented Staci Keanan, her riveting performance gripped viewers, and she went on to find further success in another hit sitcom, "Step by Step." Since then, however, her name has largely faded from the public consciousness. But similar to how these pics show what Jan from "The Brady Bunch" looks like now and how "Halloween Town" star Emily Roeske grew up, a 2024 red carpet appearance unveiled what Keanan looked like decades after "My Two Dads" aired.
Keanan remained instantly recognizable and could be considered one of the celebs confronting aging with confidence, her blue-gray eyes as bright as they were in her sitcom era. At the time of the picture, Keanan was 49 years old, and there's no denying that she's still a stunner. Compared to her "My Two Dads" days, the sitcom star has changed her hair color to an almost white-blonde shade, appearing stylish in her beige glasses and leopard-print fur coat. Despite not being as high-profile as she was in the '90s, it appears that Keanan is more than glad of her decision to leave acting for a very different career.
Staci Keanan has swapped TV scripts for the courtroom
After "My Two Dads" and "Step by Step", Staci Keanan continued starring in a string of lesser-known films. However, she then decided she wanted a change of pace away from acting. So, the former actor enrolled in Southwestern Law School and walked away in 2013 with a law degree at the age of 38. After that, it was off to the races. Keanan became a successful lawyer and readily exchanged the fast-paced nature of a film set for the high-intensity atmosphere of a courtroom.
"So, prosecuting basically murder and domestic violence is what I'm handling now," Keanan exclusively shared with The Sun in 2024. It seems there were no regrets at all on Keanan's part as her law career has gone from strength to strength. Not only is she a high-powered attorney for the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office, but she was also appointed the Adjunct Associate Professor of Law at her alma mater. Staci Keanan proved that it's never too late to pursue another career path, and we can't help but admire her for it.
