Jessica Chastain Debuts Vintage-Inspired Haircut Ahead Of Taylor Swift's Wedding

With all of the world buzzing about Taylor Swift's wedding, it's hard not to read celebrity style updates as nuptial-related hints. This morning, Jessica Chastain, for instance, shared a pic on Instagram of a new flapper-inspired bob. The glam post seems loaded with hints that she might have made the guest list for Swift and Travis Kelce's July 3 wedding. Countless stars, from Selena Gomez to Suki Waterhouse, similarly posted pics and Instagram stories of their glamorous looks without saying where they were going. But the unspoken statement is that they were all heading to Madison Square Garden in New York City. In fact, Gomez served the ultimate wedding guest style inspo at Swift's rehearsal dinner, and she shared videos without a peep about where she was actually headed. Could it be the same for Chastain? 

To make the hints even more loaded, Chastain added the caption: "I don't know about you......but I'm feeling 1922." She played with Swift's lyrics from the song "22," which go like: "I don't know about you but I'm feeling 22." It's entirely possible, though, that Chastain was just having fun with the wedding hype and tweaked the numbers to have fun with her 1920's-inspired bob. Because as every Swiftie has learned over the Fourth of July weekend, Swift is being infuriatingly tight-lipped about her wedding details. But people are so excited that Swift's best white dress moments are trending ahead of her and Kelce's wedding. Maybe Chastain is a part of the festivities. 

Jessica Chastain isn't the only star who loves a 1920s-inspired bob. Taylor Swift herself showed off a vintage-inspired hairdo in her music video "Bejeweled" and the look was stunning. Of course, on Swift the chin-length, wavy bob was a faux style for the video, but clearly both stars seemed to channel Daisy Buchanan from "The Great Gatsby" in their own ways. 

So Chastain's timely post certainly seems like a nod to the wedding. She'd fit right in with all of the top beauty looks at Swift's rehearsal dinner and fans thought the same thing. "[S]o... you're going to the royal wedding?" someone asked in the comments on Chastain's post. "LET ME BE YOUR PLUS ONE," another excitedly commented, assuming that Chastain was, indeed, a guest. "Flawless for the event of the millennium," another wrote. Clearly, fans think she's going. Even if Chastain isn't a guest, it's a very strategic move to post a new look on July 3, 2026 because every Swiftie in the world is paying close attention to social media, looking for clues. And a new, flapper-era bob is a pretty good hint.
