Argent counts Hillary Clinton and Kamala Harris (two women Trump hasn't shied away from sharing his disdain for) among its clients, and the campaign was aimed at strong women, starting the rumor that Guthrie picked the number to send a message to Trump. However, a Page Six source denied the ensemble harbored hidden meaning. "She's had this suit in her wardrobe for years, she's worn it on the show and in interviews. There's no significance to it — she just knows what looks good on a set," they said. But while that outfit turned out not to be more than meets the eye, she's worn plenty of outfits that are.

In 2024, Savannah Guthrie donned a pink top on "Today" to honor her co-anchors, Hoda Kotb and Jenna Bush Hager.
