Throwback Party Pic Of Jami Gertz Highlights Her Peak '90s Beauty

Jami Gertz has had an interesting yet fulfilling life, to say the least. She's had a successful career in acting, her star rising with films such as "The Lost Boys" and "Less Than Zero" alongside the likes of Robert Downey Jr. Not only that, she's gone into several successful business ventures and has a seemingly idyllic family life with husband Tony Ressler, the pair raising three children together. And while Jami Gertz has had a gorgeous gray hair transformation, it's a nostalgic blast from the past of the actor that's had us in a shambles.

Seen in the image above, Gertz is pictured attending the Perfumes Isabell Launch Party in 1996, and her look is the pinnacle of '90s beauty. Here, the "Twister" star sports a voluminous, blowout hairstyle, paired with a bold, red lip, the lightest hint of blush, and filled-in brows. It's safe to say we understand why the '90s lip look was making a comeback in 2023 and beyond, judging by this picture. 

Although Gertz has had a great run in the film industry, acting has actually taken more of a backseat for the "Sixteen Candles" actor. Her last major acting role was in 2014 for "The Neighbors" and since then, she's kept a low profile. But that doesn't mean she hasn't been keeping busy, as the actor has been steadily transitioning into a socialite, which is understandable considering she's married to billionaire businessman and private equity investor Tony Ressler, whose net worth Forbes has recorded to be $11.5 billion and rising. Aside from buying the Atlanta Hawks for a whopping $850 million, Gertz has also been delving into philanthropic work.

In a rare public appearance, Gertz and Ressler attended the opening launch night of the David Geffen Galleries in April 2026. Having donated $50 million to the art museum, the couple were presumably appearing as guests of honor, as well as a show of support for the institution. Gertz certainly nabbed the spotlight all on her own. Garbed in a white dress paired with a white blazer stitched with floral motifs, the actor showed the world how she's aged gracefully, and that her fashion choices remained as tasteful as they were in the '90s.
