From the moment it became apparent that Kate Middleton was going to marry William, Prince of Wales and heir to the throne, all eyes were on her. Also known as the Princess of Wales thanks to her marriage, Middleton has, in some ways, picked up where Princess Diana left off in her attempt to be more accessible and down to the earth compared to the rest of the royal family. So far she's succeeding.

Although she's always dressed impeccably, embracing the 2024 timeless sophistication trend — taxpayer-funded wealth allows such luxuries — she's really come into her own as she's gotten older. In December 2023, Kate Middleton attended the opening of a new surgery unit at Evelina London Children's Hospital. For the event, she arrived in a navy blue suit that had been clearly tailored to fit her perfectly — if it wasn't made exclusively for her in the first place. The Princess of Wales chose to wear this fantastic pinstripe suit when she visited the Fitzalan High School in Cardiff, Wales, to celebrate Black History Month. 

Considering she was going to a school to talk to students, some of whom may have been intimidated by her royal presence, this look was a perfect choice, and completely on trend as the everyday allure of pinstripes came back in fashion in 2023. Middleton looks relaxed, approachable, and like she's ready to have a good time.

In May 2023, Kate Middleton visited the Foundling Museum in London rocking one heck of a look. Not only did she go for a pink pantsuit, but she chose a matching pink shirt to go with it — creating another monochromatic look. Pink, similar to purple, isn't always an easy color to wear and choose accessories for, but Middleton chose wisely. To complete this outfit, she went for a white pump and a white belt with subtle adornment. Opting for white accessories breaks up the pink, without being overbearing like black would be.
