Lily From Modern Family Is So Gorgeous In Real Life

"Modern Family" fans have watched Lily Tucker-Pritchett grow from a toddler to a teen before their eyes, and she is just as gorgeous off-screen. Played by Aubrey Anderson-Emmons since Season 3, the adopted Vietnamese child of Cameron Tucker and Mitchell Pritchett was known for her dry sense of humor and snappy comebacks. When "Modern Family" ended in 2020, Lily was 13 — just a year older than Anderson-Emmons' real age at the time. Anderson-Emmons, who is 17 years old at the time of this writing, went on to develop her own unique look after the show wrapped.

On February 21, 2025, Anderson-Emmons shared a snap on Instagram wearing a LBD, joining the ranks of celebrities who proved just how versatile the iconic style is. Fans couldn't believe how grown-up she looked, with one commenting, "Lilyyy is that youuuuuu....." With her subtle makeup and the breezy allure of her wispy bangs, Anderson-Emmons looked nothing like her "Modern Family" character, who sported long hair as the series ended. The shorter style definitely suits her oval face, and the "Tailwinds" actor's everyday look is subtle, with a breezy bohemian touch.

Aubrey Anderson-Emmons may be a famous actor, but that doesn't mean she's a diva in real life. When she's not in front of cameras, she prefers to keep her look natural, she revealed in a February 2024 TikTok. Anderson-Emmons started her routine with a face serum and then brushed out her timeless, not-too-short midi bob. As for makeup, all she applied was a quick swipe of mascara to bring out her brown eyes. A pair of dangly silver earrings completed her sweet boho-chic look.

Instead of tons of makeup, Anderson-Emmons prefers to focus on skincare. In another TikTok posted in February 2024, she revealed a bit of unevenness on her face and said, "I know you all are looking at my skin and seeing the red patches, and just so you know ... yes, I am aware that they're there. And that's why I only do eye makeup usually and maybe some lip liner." 

Anderson-Emmons opened up about her chronic eczema in August 2024 and told fans, "I'm most definitely not perfect. I have my flaws and my struggles, and this is definitely one of them." She added, "Because of my eczema, I tend to keep my skincare routine very, very simple." Whatever she's doing, it's working, because despite a bit of redness, Anderson-Emmons' skin is flawless, and she proved that she's stunning even makeup-free.
