"The Scent of Love"? "The Price of Happiness"? Only true Beatles fans will know if these songs are real or fake!
The Beatles were one of the biggest and most commercially successful bands of all time. Formed in Liverpool in 1960, the Beatles consisted of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr. Initially a rock band, the Beatles experimented with a range of styles, tapping into pop ballads, Indian music, psychedelia and even classical elements. John Lennon and Paul McCartney served as the band's primary songwriters, and eventually, the quartet became so influential upon pop culture that the phenomenon known as Beatlemania was formed. Between 1960 and 1963, the Beatles started to rise to fame by playing the club scene in Hamburg. Their first hit "Love Me Do" was released in 1962, and the band was eventually dubbed The Fab Four by diehard fans in Britain. As they rose to the status of international pop stars, the Beatles led what's now known as the British Invasion of the pop market in the United States. Some of the most famous Beatles songs include "Across the Universe", "All Things Must Pass", "And Your Bird Can Sing", "Baby, You're a Rich Man", "The Ballad of John and Yoko", "Because I Know You Love Me So", "The Continuing Story of Bungalow Bill", "Do You Want to Know a Secret?", "Everybody's Got Something to Hide Except Me and My Monkey", "Fancy My Chances with You", "Good Morning Good Morning", "Here, There and Everywhere", "I Want to Hold Your Hand" and "Lonesome Tears in My Eyes".
