How To Use Instagram Filters: June 2017
Check out these new Instagram filters from June 2017!
Instagram recently launched an exciting feature called "face filters" and these photo filters allow you to add adorable decorations to your photos and videos (puppy ears, flower crowns, and pretty filters). What's even cooler, is that you can filter your friends too. You can take the camera lens off of you and point it at your friends, adding adorable filters to them whether your videoing or snapping a pic.
The feature is called "face filters" and uses augmented reality, watch out snapchat, to overlay costumes, effects, decorations and more on top of your face. It's ridiculously fun, and offers an easy way for us to play dress up, look a little bit better, or add a little flare to pictures.
Want to use the new update? Here's how.
1. First, make sure your Instagram app is updated to the latest version. Go to the app store and update your Instagram app
You can check to see if the developer of an iPhone app has released an update. Simply open the iTunes App Store on your iPhone, and tap the Updates icon at the bottom of the screen
2. Next, open Instagram. Tap the camera button in the top-left corner of the screen.
Hit the arrow icon to the right of the large round button (which takes the picture) to focus the camera on your self (selfie time) or on someone else.
3. Tap the small face icon at the bottom of the screen on the right side.
Now go to town!
Sleeping mask filter
Dog / puppy ears filter
Black swan filter
"Thinking very hard" filter
Top hat and glasses filter
These are just a small of the filters that are available now but they add new filters on a (almost) daily basis. As for now, I most certainly will enjoy these filters that make my skin look better, my life look more interesting (even if it is just augmented reality) and my content way more shareable.
