The Bible is a wonderful tool that we have in our faith because it helps us to live a more fulfilling life with guidance and instructions! It teaches us how to make smart, healthy, and wise decisions. Reading the Bible can be difficult sometimes because the lingo is so old but after you get past that part, you'll uncover how powerful it can truly be! 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 of the NIV version of the Bible says this: "Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all. So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." 1 John 3:1-3 says this: "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will have not yet been made known. But we know that when Christ appears, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is." These words were left behind for us on earth so that we would have hope! They were left behind for us in order to allow us to have faith!
