Full Dialogue Text Of Theon & Jon Snow's Conversation In The Dragon Throne Room:

Davos and Jon are walking through the dragon's throne room.

THEON GREYJOY: "Jon, can I speak with you."

Jon gives Davos a nod and Davos leaves. Jon turns to face Theon, but doesn't say a word.

THEON GREYJOY: "What you did in King's Landing, what you said, you could have lied to Cersei, about bending the knee to Daenarys. You risked everything to tell an enemy the truth."

JON SNOW: “We went down there to make peace and it seems to me that we need to be honest with each other if we’re ever going to fight together.”

Theon's face looks intense, a cross between shame and deep admiration.

THEON GREYJOY: "You’ve always known what was right. Even when we were all young and stupid. You always knew. Every step you take, it’s always the right step.”

Theon's voice breaks a bit.

JON SNOW: “It’s not. It may seem that way, from the outside, but I promise you, it’s not true, I’ve done plenty of things that I’ve regret.”

THEON GREYJOY: “Not compared to me, you haven’t.”

Jon has a sad look in his eyes as he solemly replies,

JON SNOW: “No, not compared to you.”

THEON GREYJOY: “I’ve always wanted to do the right thing, be the right kind of person, but I never knew what that meant, it always seemed like there was, like there was an impossible choice I had to make, Stark or Greyjoy.”

Jon strides right up to Theon, obviously annoyed, now fully facing him for the first time.

JON SNOW: “Our father, was more of a father to you than yours ever was..”

Theon interjects quietly,

THEON GREYJOY: “He was.”

JON SNOW: “And you betrayed him. Betrayed his memory.”

THEON GREYJOY: “I did.” Theon says ashamed.

Jon softens after his ourburst and becomes a hero in typical Jon Snow fashion and says,

JON SNOW: “But you never lost it. He’s a part of you, just like he’s a part of me.”

THEON GREYJOY: “But the things I’ve done…”

JON SNOW: “It’s not my place to forgive you for all of it, but what I can forgive, I do.”

Theon is shocked and by the way he looks at Jon it’s clear that Jon’s forgiveness means everything to Theon.

JON SNOW: “You don’t have to choose. You’re a Greyjoy and you’re a Stark.”

THEON GREYJOY: “When I was Ramsay’s prisoner, Yara, tried to save me, she’s the only one who tried to save me, she needs me now.”

JON SNOW: “So why are you still talking to me?”

What Theon admits to Jon seems almost as if he was never really asking for Jon's redemption, but the ultimate secret to Jon's morality. To which Jon replies that it is the same morality that Theon's own father (Ned Stark) gave both of them.

In their conversation Jon accepts Theon's apology for the offenses he committed against the Stark family. Jon also frees Theon from the agony of having to choose between being a Greyjoy or a Stark.

Theon leaves to try to save Yara with the closest thing to redemption he can ever recieve for his betrayals and also the only true thing he ever wanted from a Stark, acceptance.
