Charmed Reboot: Premiere Date, Spoilers, Cast, And More
What child growing up didn't wish they were secretly a Halliwell sister from Charmed? Or, at least, would someday discover that they had secret witchy powers?
The original Charmed series ran for eight seasons on The WB (now The CW) from 1998 until 2006, but it is finally resurrecting itself and becoming the show we want, NAY, need right now.
The Charmed reboot has a much needed feminist spin. Nothing says "I'm going to destroy the patriarchy" like teaming up with your fellow sisters and casting spells to banish demons back to the underworld IMO.

Charmed Reboot Premiere Date And Time
So, when does the Charmed reboot come out? Well, the premiere date for the next installment hasn't been released. The CW had to postpone its development of the show. But, don't fret! We'll update you as soon as we can. But, we're hoping that the reboot comes out sometime in 2018.

Charmed Reboot Cast
So, are Phoebe, Piper, Prue, and Paige coming back in the Charmed reboot as part of the regular cast? Sadly not. While Phoebe (Alyssa Milano), Piper (Holly Marie Combs), and Prue (Shannen Doherty), and later half-sister Paige (Rose McGowan) aren't the stars of the upcoming reboot, there may be a chance that they make a very special appearance.
Milano is focused on activism, Doherty has battled breast cancer (which is now in remission), McGowan has a new docuseries called Citizen Rose, and Combs dismissed the reboot rumors as rumors on Instagram, there's still a chance they may make time for a cameo.
Milano told The Daily Beast, "Shannen, Holly, Rose and I have all said out loud that we are open to some sort of reboot, reunion or something."
Originally, the reboot was set to take place in the 1970s, which lead fans to wonder if it would be a prequel about the sisters' mother. However, according to The CW, it will take place in present day.
The cast of the reboot has yet to be released.

UPDATE
Announced on Monday, March 5, the power of three has found their vessels.
Madeleine Mantock (The Tomorrow People, Into the Badlands,) will play the oldest sister, Macy. Macy is a geneticist who is practical and driven -- she's also shocked she's a witch. Which is such the typical older sister role. I still remember when my older brother found out we were witches...
Melonie Diaz (Elementary, Rizzoli and Iseles, Girls, Person of Interest) will play Mel, a lesbian and activist who is lost after her mother's death.
And Sarah Jeffery (Shades of Blue, Descendants), will play the youngest sister, Madison. Madison is a typical college freshman who now has to naviaget witchy ways and being a sorority girl.

Charmed Reboot Spoilers
The CW describes the reboot as, "This fierce, funny, feminist reboot of the original series centers on three sisters in a college town who discover they are witches. Between vanquishing supernatural demons, tearing down the patriarchy, and maintaining familial bonds, a witch's work is never done."
TELL. ME. ABOUT. IT.
I cannot tell you how many times I have heard, "Hope, you're coming to my art gallery opening right? As my sister, I need you there... By the way, we have to march for women's rights earlier that day and also deal with this really annoying supernatural demon at least by noon."
Jessica O'Toole and Amy Rardin of Jane the Virgin are writing the script, so it's probably going to be brilliant and honestly if I could cast a spell to time travel to the premiere date I would.
