Snapchat's CEO On The Snapchat Redesign 2018

So, did Snapchat agree to reverse the update? No. In fact, it looks like they're hoping for users to get used to the new interface.

Snapchat's CEO, Evan Spiegel, is also not sorry about the redesign. He says that the complaints even reinforce why they made the changes in the first place.

"We're excited about what we're seeing so far. The best part is that even some of the complaints we're seeing reinforce the philosophy [behind the design]," Spiegel said. "For example, one of the complaints we got was 'Aww...I used to feel like this celebrity was my friend, and now they don't feel like my friend anymore.' And we're like, 'Exactly. They're not your friend.'"

Savage. But fair.
