In the Riverdale musical episode and according to fans who saw the screening, it was killer. However, it wasn't fans that spoiled the Black Hood's return.

Who Is The Black Hood In Riverdale?
We knew it! We knew it had to be someone more than the janitor! While we're just as surprised as you are that Archie (KJ Apa) finally got something right, we're excited to see what this means for the rest of Riverdale season 2.
The Black Hood first arrived in the mysterious town of Riverdale, where he shot Fred Andrews (Luke Perry) in the season 1 finale. He later returned in season 2 to almost kill Midge (Emilija Baranac) and Moose (Cody Kearsley), brutally murder pedophile and teacher Geraldine Grundy (Cody Kearsley), and kill off The Sugarman, Robert Phillips (Robert Baker).
In season 2, the Black Hood was revealed to be the Riverdale High School janitor, Joseph Svenson (Cameron McDonald). He was then killed by Tom Keller (Martin Cummins). But, we all knew this wasn't the end. So, who is the Black Hood?
“When we started, we had three likely suspects, so for the first half of the season, we were always dropping red herrings so we could pick," Aguirre-Sacasa said. “As we moved into the second half, and we get back to the Black Hood for the last few episodes, we always knew it wasn’t going to be just the janitor, but for the last 10 episodes or so, we’ve had a pretty clear idea and have been writing toward that.”
So, who is the infamous Riverdale Black Hood? Chances are if you rewatch the last 10 episodes of season 2, then you'll pick up on some clues as to who it is. While we expect the Riverdale team to be a little more clever than our wildest imaginations, we bet it's someone we've already seen.
So, Riverdale fans. Who do you think is the Black Hood in Riverdale? Here's what Twitter thinks.
Is The Black Hood Hal Cooper? Black Hood Fan Theories
Riverdale fans all over Twitter seem to be convinced that Black Hood is Hal Cooper (Lochlyn Munro). Others still think it might be Chic or even both. Think their arguments are valid? We aren't convinced just yet. We're just going to have to wait and see. Let's just hope that the reveal, whenever that may be, is not like the Gossip Girl reveal.
Reasons Hal is the Black Hood:— jen 🐍 Dumbäss™️ Skädchjen (@faliceplease) March 26, 2018
• the BH was obsessed with Betty
• made Betty break up with Jughead
• made Betty “destroy” Alice’s reputation by revealing she was a serpent
• essentially made Polly skip town which hurt Alice

The Black Hood that contacted Betty is most likely Hal, but what if it was Chic in a convoluted long con to pave the way for his entry into the Cooper home?
