1. What Happens Now That We Know That Ralph Angel Is NOT The Father?

How did you feel when you found out that Ralph Angel wasn't Blue's father? Well, it was nothing compared to the reactions from the cast. While DuVernay admitted that she knew that this storyline would happen since before shooting season 1, the cast was shocked.

"I freaked out," Siriboe told the audience. "[Ralph Angel's relationship with] Blue, that's the true love story...and for that to not be real biologically, that broke my heart."

Lawson echoed her co-star's thoughts, but brought up an important question that the show inspired.

"It took a while to land," Lawson said. "And then it felt like I was grieving for all of them because they all worked so hard to get to where they got to. Blue and Ralph Angel are soulmates and that is a great love, so processing that took me a minute. I think it brings up a question as to what is family. Is it blood or is it experiences?"

So, what's coming in season 3? As it turns out, that question is exactly what Queen Sugar will explore throughout season 3.

"It was the love between them that made you so sure that this was everything that it needed to be and my challenge to the audience is: isn't it? Isn't it everything that it needs to be?" DuVernay said. "Does it need to be that biological marker? And so that's what Ralph Angel goes through in season 3."

When asked if the storyline would be figured out early on in the season or dragged out, DuVernay coyly said, "You'll see."

2. What To Expect In Season 3

So, what is Queen Sugar's new showrunner excited to see in season 3? Candler mentioned two things that we should look out for. And the second part is kind of hilarious.

"I'm excited about the journey of fatherhood with Ralph Angel and Blue and what the dynamics will look like and how they might have shifted a little bit," Candler said. "And watching the complexities of that relationship unfold."

We are, too. But, that's not all that we have to look forward to.

"I'm also excited about some Godfather shit," Candler added as the audience roared with laughter. We can only imagine what this means. Particularly for Charley.

3. What's Happening With Charley In Season 3?

Wondering what to expect from Charley in season 3? A lot. While her priorities will continue to remain with honoring her family's legacy, Gardner hinted that something is going to arise and it's going to have something to do with Micah (Nicholas L. Ashe). After what the police brutality storyline that Queen Sugar executed in season 2, what's next for Charley?

"Micah is the space in her life that is uncompromised. It's the space in her life that is the clearest and most innocent and it belongs to her and she can belong to it," Gardner said. "So, I'm not going to give anything away, but we know the woman that she truly is."

"She's not going to let that go," DuVernay added.

And while we're dying to know exactly what's going on. Both DuVernay and Gardner remained silent. So, we're going to have to wait and see. But, you know it's going to be dramatic.

4. Is Calvin Returning To Queen Sugar? And Who Will Nova End Up With?

Team Calvin (Greg Vaughan) or Team Dubois (Alimi Ballard)? And what about Chantal (Reagan Gomez-Preston)? Which side are you on? But, first, we'd have to have an even playing field, right?

Fans everywhere are wondering if Calvin is returning to Queen Sugar in the future. The answer?

"You never know, what'll happen," DuVernay said. At least that's not a no. Right?

But, if Calvin never comes back, then where does the cast see Nova's love life going, especially now that Dubois' love seemed too self-serving?

"That's a big question when it comes to Nova," Wesley said. "Will she ever jump completely into love with someone and really embrace it?"

But, it looks like DuVernay wishes more for Nova in the future.

"I want her to be happy," DuVernay said. "We want the audience to explore who is right for this complex woman...[Calvin and Nova] had this physical heat but they couldn't talk about anything. And when they did talk they were completely at odds at terms with who they were in the world, so do you want that for her? I want more for her than that...I think it's about this woman...falling in and out of love both with other people and herself. She's exploring it all."

5. Are Nova And Remy Going To Get Together?

Did anyone else feel weird about that hug between Nova and Remy in the season 2 finale? Yeah. So did everyone else who watched the episode. When the panel opened questions up to the audience, fans were itching to find out what was going on when Nova and Remy hugged for just a little bit too long.

Gardner instantly turned towards Wesley as the audience erupted. But, it was Whitfield who answered the question.

"Remy is the notion to every women, particularly black women, that there's one of him around the corner. I could have my own. When I read that, I was like, "Is that we're doing?" Whitfield said. "But when [Wesley and I] talked about it, this was just the recognition of our counterpart. What she is in her community, I am in that one and we finally saw each other in that way in that moment. So, that embrace was just the deep breath into each other like 'Yo, I feel you man. Because you're carrying you. I feel you.'"
