Caleigh Haber, @fight2breathe

"Let me start by introducing myself. My name is Caleigh. I was diagnosed with cystic fibrosis as an infant in the hospital. At one day old I was required to have surgery on my abdomen. The same year I was born, the average age of survival for an individual with cystic fibrosis was only 10 years old, however, thanks to modern medicine, support, and most importantly of course, my two donors; I am thriving today at a much older age than imagined."

Tiff Rich, @tiffrich22

"CF Awareness is very important to me. My passion is to help others and I think that by sharing my story via Instagram and all forms of social media, I am able to show that being positive is key to conquering this horrific disease. I will continue to raise awareness and share my story, hoping that CF will soon stand for Cure Found.”

Chelsea Gagnon, @chelseacgagnon

"If I had a nickel for every time I’ve told someone I have cystic fibrosis and them replying with a quizzical look - I’d be RICH. CF is a rare disease. It’s unheard of to most of the population. And the first step to fundraising is having awareness."

Somer Love, @lovetobreathe

"Every new day is a chance to be better than who I was yesterday. The opportunity to live another day isn’t something I take for granted. Life is hard, life is messy but within the chaos there’s so much beauty. The beauty of this life is that we have a chance to turn hope into reality. I will choose to live in that hope and chase my dreams. ⁣"

Rima Irena, @lung_story_short

"Someone who was an organ donor allowed me to be an organ recipient. With that selfless gift, myself and so many others have received a second chance at life. A selfless decision a stranger made has saved my life. Whenever I workout or do any type of physical activity It reminds me just a little bit more of how lucky I am. I’m now able to workout without stopping for a break after 4 squats and sitting for 3 minutes to catch my breath. Please consider becoming an organ donor!"

Mary Frey, @freyliving

"Lungs don’t get a weekend off, but that won’t steal my joy! Noticing what it feels like to be alive today and I’m feeling very thankful that my lungs feel drastically better than they did 5 weekends ago. Each day is a gift, and I’m going to make the most of each day!"

Jenny Livingston, @jenny_livingston

“I’m a firm believer that our character is never tested in comfortable or easy moments; it’s the most difficult ones that reveal who we truly are. CF has presented some of the most trying, agonizing, defining moments in my life, and as cliché as it may sound, I’m truly grateful for the ways in which those experiences have shaped me.”⁣⁣
