Fashion Trend Analysis, Pro-age Beauty, Gifting And Curated Experiences
  • Mel spent a glorious afternoon clothes shopping with Queer Eye's Antoni Porowski.
  • She dabbled in modeling in her early years, and still loves nothing more than a big stack of fashion magazines.
  • Her love of fashion inspired her to learn how to sew – in hopes of creating her own styles and repurpose existing pieces to keep them out of the landfill.

Mel is a travel and lifestyle writer. In her early career years, she worked as a gifting expert and traveled as a curated experiences professional. She ultimately brought together the intersection of immersive experiences and culture — and channeled that into writing a newspaper column. She now travels the globe to experience new cultures, fashion, and foods – always returning home, excited to find new beauty product launch and runway show invites in her inbox. Her work can be seen in New York Lifestyles Magazine, Thrillist, Insider, Paste Magazine, Explore, and Wealth of Geeks.

In 2017, Mel returned to college with a concentration in food and culture journalism. During her tenure at UMass Amherst, Mel was a member of Alpha Sigma Lambda Honor's Society. She won the UMass Presidential Jack Wilson Scholarship and the Amherst Alumni Association Senior Leadership Award. She graduated summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA.
