Best Scary Movies to Watch While Pregnant

Halloween is right around the corner, which means there's no better time than right now to be watching some classic horror flicks.

If you're pregnant, you may be wondering, 'Can I watch scary movies while pregnant?'

The short answer is yes.

The much longer answer is that it also depends on how far along you are in your pregnancy, the type of scare you can withstand, and much, much more.

That being said, we've rounded up a handful of scary (or, not-so-scary) movies to watch this Halloween season for those of you who are carrying a bun in the oven. Check 'em out below!

Beetlejuice via Warner Bros.

Psycho (1960)

Psycho via Paramount Pictures

What it's about: An absolute classic, this Alfred Hitchcock psychological thriller centers around the disappearance of Marion Crane. After checking into the Bates Motel, she's introduced to Norman Bates, and it's all downhill from there. If you haven't seen the iconic movie masterpiece that is Psycho, you're seriously missing out.

In The Ghost and Mr. Chicken, he's assigned to spend the night in a haunted house on the 20th anniversary of the murder/suicide. It sounds like the premise for an incredibly terrifying thriller, but it's much more comical than it is spooky.
