Review of Luna + Quartz's Magic Roller Blemish Potion
Crystals, they heal everything.
Have a problem? There's a crystal to fix it.
At least, that's how it feels, as of late. More and more people are collecting these gems for their healing properties like they're property in Monopoly.
My experience with crystals began a few short years ago and has since developed into a full-fledged obsession, with me visiting a crystal shop at least once every two weeks. I don't always acquire a new stone, I simply use it as a way to recharge my soul.
Clearly, I'm not a skeptic when it comes to the metaphysical world, but never did I ever think I'd be writing about my experience with using crystals to treat my acne. I know, I'm just as shocked as you are.
My Acne Struggles
To be fair, my acne has never been that bad. I break out on my forehead quite often, namely due to the fact I'm stressed 24/7 and sleep for about two hours every night. We're not here to talk about my other issues (thankfully), so let's move on.
Again, acne hasn't been the biggest issue in my life (far from it, actually), but I've always been consumed with the idea that I needed a face free of imperfections and impurities to be viewed as worthy (yay to all the other issues that plague me coming to the surface like the puss in a pimple). So from a very young age, I began using every single acne treatment I could get my hands on. Everything from Clean & Clear's Advantage Spot Treatment to Proactive's Acne Treatment Kit could be found adorning my bathroom sink or tucked inside my medicine cabinet.
Throughout my adult life, I've experimented with light therapy treatments and have tried a number of at-home remedies (none that ever worked) to get rid of my blemishes as quickly as possible.
Some would argue that my skin is relatively clear, but almost only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades. What I'm seeking is an immaculate, flawless complexion like the airbrushed models in every single advert. Granted, I'm fully aware no one's skin is the epitome of perfection and I also need to fix my sleep schedule to ever make that happen, but I've recently stumbled upon a product that just about gets the job done—Luna + Quartz's Magic Roller Blemish Potion.
What to Know About Luna + Quartz
For those of you unfamiliar with the small magical company that is Luna + Quartz, they offer a line of crystal-infused goods for your mind, body, and spirit. According to the company's site, it began "as a way to infuse our intuitive healing powers with plant and crystal allies." If you've ever felt as though there was some magic buried down deep within you, the products made by Luna + Quartz are sure to unearth it.
I found them through yet another late night Instagram scroll session and went down the rabbit hole exploring all the products they had to offer.
When I saw their Magic Roller Blemish Potion, I was intrigued to say the least. The next morning, I reached out to the company and they sent me my own magical little roll-on.
A concoction of witch hazel, borage seed, and a calendula base, this blemish potion reduces inflammation, cellular damage, redness, and swelling for skin prone to breakouts due to buildup or hormonal fluctuations. The kicker? It's also infused with amethyst and rose quartz to calm skin and reduce redness. And that's where I was sold.

Magic Roller Blemish Potion Experience
When I had received the roll-on potion, I had a few nasty pimples occupying a space under my eye, around my nose, and all along my forehead.
There I am, acne and all for the world to see.
But little did I or those pimples know they wouldn't fair too well against the magic in this acne product.
Within a few days, they were gone and my skin was practically spotless. I did acquire a few other pimples along the side of my cheek, but they were zapped away within a day of rolling the crystal-infused mix on them. I didn't even have time to capture their short lifespan.
Because this treatment worked so fast, I was worried it was going to dry out my skin—but it didn't. In fact, I'm slightly convinced it moisturized my skin better than the serum I slather on every morning and evening.
To call this product magical almost feels like an understatement. And I know that sounds absolutely bonkers to admit that crystals were the one thing I was missing from my skincare routine, but I wholeheartedly believe it to be true. The results even speak for themselves.
My skin may not be the most flawless, but this little blend of essential oils and crystals has dramatically improved my complexion for the better. And how could I expect it to undo all the damage I brought on from lack of sleep and stress induced by worrying about the world's problems? I can't, but it sure as hell worked for simple spot treatments and then some.
Since using the product, my flareups haven't been nearly as severe as they once were. The second I sense a pimple pushing its way to the surface, I roll on the potion and it never sees the light of day.
I've even started rolling it around the entirety of my face rather generously and my skin seems to appreciate the gesture. I'm not sure anything else will compare to this acne product, but you never know.
If you're curious to try this Luna + Quartz product out yourself, you can pick up a roll-on here for $22.
