We all could love ourselves a little more.

Think about how often you scrutinize your appearance or personality on the daily. You notice one flaw and suddenly your whole day is ruined. It probably happens more times than you'd like to admit. We know that's the case with us.

A study done by women's health care company Evofem Biosciences found that 38 percent of women had a negative relationship with their bodies. From the women sampled, 54 percent of them mentioned they were more obsessed with their physical appearance than they should be. Guilty as charged.

Thankfully, we have the perfect outlet to turn to when we need to boost our spirits and self-love—movies, of course. There's nothing like turning on a body positivity film to remind us we're so much more than our appearance. And we thought it was as good a time as any to share these flicks with you.

Keep scrolling to discover our seven favorite body positive movies that you can stream tonight! Just save some room on the couch for us, okay?

1. Miss Representation

Available to stream on Netflix, Miss Representation is a documentary that focuses on how the media's portrayal of women affects how we view ourselves. It examines the various stereotypes and standards women are expected to adhere to in order to be viewed as perfect by society's standards. Not only will it strengthen your relationship with yourself, but it'll inspire you to be a force for change.

2. Hairspray

Most people are familiar with the 2007 musical starring John Travolta, Nikki Blonsky, and Queen Latifah, but we're talking about the '80s movie that started it all. The John Waters-directed flick follows "pleasantly plump" teenager Tracy Turnblad as she attempts to become a dancer on The Corny Collins Show. It's heartwarming, hilarious, and will make you think twice before you talk badly about your appearance.

Though it's not available on Netflix, you can rent it with Amazon Prime.

3. Phat Girlz

Who isn't a fan of the hilarious and witty Mo'Nique? Her 2006 romantic comedy Phat Girlz will forever hold a special place in our hearts. It not only reminded us to stop obsessing over our weight, but gave us advice we still carry with us today—you need to love yourself first before you can love somebody else.

You can currently stream this rom-com on YouTube and Amazon Prime.

4. Patti Cake$

Patti Cake$ hit the scene in 2017 and immediately stole our hearts. A story about an aspiring rapper, this movie has more heart than any film we've seen in a long time. It's sharp, gut-wrenching, and will move you to tears.

It's available to watch on both YouTube and Amazon Prime.

5. Real Women Have Curves

Real Women Have Curves was one of the first films we ever saw that inspired us to love ourselves more. Watching America Ferrara's character Ana stand up to her mother and proclaim she loves the body she has still gives us goosebumps. Anyone and everyone can relate to the struggles Ana goes through, so it's time to watch this flick, if you haven't already. And if you have, see it again and again.

You can stream it on YouTube and Amazon Prime.

6. Babycakes

Another Ricki Lake film, the 1989 made-for-TV movie Babycakes follows her character Grace as she tries to win over the heart of the hunky Rob. Once again, it serves as a reminder love comes in all shapes and sizes, and just because you aren't a size 00, doesn't mean you're unworthy of love.

7. Little Miss Sunshine

A sweet and heartfelt dramedy about a family, Little Miss Sunshine also doubles as a fantastic body positive movie. Olive's entire family is determined to get her to the finals of a beauty pageant, so they take a cross-country trip to California in their VW bus. What we get along the way are plenty of life lessons, not just about self-love, that we'll cherish forever.

Little Miss Sunshine can be purchased on YouTube and Amazon Prime.
