Why Is Hope Hicks Resigning From The White House?
On Wednesday, one of President Trump's most trusted advisers, Hope Hicks, announced she will be resigning from her White House position.
The Communications Director has recently been making headlines for her testimony in the ongoing Russia investigation, as well as for her alleged relationship with accused domestic abuser and former White House staffer Rob Porter.
According to The New York Times reporter Maggie Haberman, Hicks has been considering her resignation for months and that the timing with her Russia testimony is purely coincidental.
Who Will Replace Hope Hicks As The Next Communications Director?
While the Trump administration has yet to make any official statement on who will replace Hope Hicks, many are speculating that the job could go to current White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
Others think the position could be filled by former Trump campaign spokesperson Jason Miller.
What Did Hope Hicks Reveal In Her Russia Testimony? Did She Lie For Trump?
During her testimony before the House Intelligence Committee in the ongoing Russia investigation, Hicks admitted that she told white lies for the Trump administration, according to The New York Times.
