Robin believes we need to rewrite the No Child Left Behind legislation to ensure schools have the funds they need to prepare students for college or careers. She also strongly supports federal policies that will make college more affordable, refinance student loans, and lower interest rates.
Robin believes in protecting our environment and natural resources. She has consistently voted for pro-environment legislation that protects clean water, endangered species, and forests while inhibiting fracking, pollution, and offshore drilling.
Robin serves on the House Committee on Foreign Affairs. She believes our foreign policy must work to increase trade, promote economic growth, and advance democratic principles while protecting the rights and safety of all nations.
Robin wants to address health inequality in our communities. She believes in protecting a woman's right to choose, keeping health care costs affordable, and protecting Medicare and Medicaid for future generations.
Robin supported President Obama's executive action on immigration reform. She values keeping families together while still securing our borders and prioritizing criminals in deportations.
Robin supported the Affordable Care Act and believes in a woman's right to choose and make her own decisions regarding her body and health care. She wants to preserve abortion rights and expand access to birth control.
