If Politicians Were Taylor Swift Songs

Nothing causes "bad blood" like politics!
The 2016 Presidential Race has been filled with scandal, strategy, and surprise. While there may be a lot of "bad blood" between every candidate in this election, we think it's pretty obvious what will bring them together: Taylor Swift.
Think about it. Who better to bridge the gap between Democrats, Republicans, Libertarians, Greens, and Independents than the woman so patriotic she's basically claimed the 4th of July as her own holiday. Let's face it: it's really Taylor Swift's world and we're all just living in it.
We know TSwift is all this election needs to bring together everyone in the United States of Taymerica. If politicians were Taylor Swift songs, it would be the ultimate patriotic playlist:
Barack Obama - "Wildest Dreams"

Admit it: Obama is "so tall, and handsome as hell." Looks aside, the POTUS has certainly played a significant role in this year's election. As his approval ratings soar, many of the president's supporters wish he could be in office for another four years. While a third Obama term is in their "wildest dreams," they will always remember him and Michelle "standing in a nice dress" on the White House lawn.
Donald Trump - "Bad Blood"

Nobody has caused more "bad blood" this election than Donald Trump. The controversial candidate has "made a really deep cut" in scores of American voters who have been offended by his comments and actions. With members of his own party renouncing the Republican candidate, it seems clear that "bandaids don't fix bullet holes" and that Trump will have to make a lot of amends if he ever wants his approval ratings to rise.
Hillary Clinton - "Blank Space"

Hillary Clinton has had her eye on the Presidential nomination for years. After losing to Obama back in 2008, she most likely knew she would run again in the near future. While Clinton has many staunch supporters over the years, the Democratic candidate has "kept [her critics] second guessing like, "Oh my God, who is she?" Lucky for Hillary, the Democratic Party had a "blank space" for the nominee and they decided to "write [her] name."
Gary Johnson - "Shake It Off"

As the Libertarian Party's nominee, Gary Johnson "[dances] on [his] own: and "[makes] the moves up as [he goes]." While he has plenty of loyal supporters, the third-party candidate arguably has been ostracized by the media and excluded from the debates. "Players gonna play" and "haters gonna hate," right, Gary? Love him or hate him, you can't deny Johnson knows how to persevere and "shake it off."
Jill Stein - "Change"

Green Party nominee Jill Stein has been fighting an uphill battle for years now. As a third party candidate, Jill knows firsthand "it's hard to fight when the fight ain't fair." Progressive voters have joined forces with Stein to "fight for what they've worked for all these years." Disillusioned with the Democratic and Republican nominees, her supporters have rallied with Stein in hopes that "this revolution, the time will come for [them] to finally win."
Bernie Sanders - "Love Story"

This election has been full of surprises — most notably Bernie Sanders. The Democratic candidate sparked a revolution among progressive voters that can only be described as a true "love story." His loyal supporters fought for him to win the nomination, despite knowing it "[was] difficult, but [it was] real." Despite losing the nomination to Hillary Clinton, Bernie has vowed to continue the fight for what is right in Washington, telling his supporters, "Don't be afraid, we'll make it out of this mess."
