Unpopular Opinion: Cheating Doesn't Make You Bad

Can cheaters ever change?

This is not good but it is true: I have cheated on almost every boyfriend I have ever had. Three out of five of them. I didn't do this out of sexual pleasure, or because I met someone else I was so attracted to I just had to have them. I didn't do this because I am intentionally deceitful or love to lie or hurt people.

In fact, I'd consider myself none of those things. I'm good, I'm honest, and I truly believe in love. If anything, I'm kind of a helpless romantic.

I'm also codependent, deeply insecure, and immature too.

I don't know why men cheat. I'm not a man and I don't want to speak for them. But my preconceived notion was that it's always because they were out for sex. But, according to Web MD, "48% of men rated emotional dissatisfaction as the primary reason they cheated."
