How To Love Yourself As Much As Corinne Loves Her Nanny
Do you know how to practice self-love like Corinne from The Bachelor?
If you watch The Bachelor at all, you know that Corinne is the best contestant of all time. She is a 24 year old blonde girl who takes naps during rose ceremonies and has a full time nanny. She is the most important thing to have ever happened to my television.
Corinne's nanny is named Raquel, and she's basically been with her family her entire life. When describing Raquel, Corinne says: "She does everything for me. Like even if I moved out, I would have Raquel, like, come to my house."
What does Raquel do for Corinne every day exactly? Well, "Raquel keeps my life together, okay? She makes sure that my bed is made every morning, makes my cucumber and my, like, vegetable slices for lunch. She makes me lemon salad, she knows exactly how much oil, lemon, and garlic salt I like. And cheese pasta. I have tried so many times to make cheese pasta, and I can't make cheese pasta like her."
Of course! Makes sense.
Listen, Corinne obviosly loves and needs Raquel very, very much. Like, all the much. Can Corinne live without Raquel?
So here is how to love yourself as much as Corinne loves Raquel and well, as much as Corinne loves Corinne.
Know your self worth
Obviously, having confidence is key, and Corinne has it in spades. Why don't you use this as a daily mantra. For one week, look at yourself in the mirror every morning and profess: I'M THE QUEEN! This method is Raquel approved. You can even do this while you're eating some cheesy pasta.
It's also important to keep cans of whipped cream readily available (why not store them all around your house, keep one in your purse, put some in your car?) so that you can be fun, flirty, and free whenever the opportunity arises.
Flirting is good for the soul! It keeps you fun and energized. Be careful though, the whipped cream can get a little sticky.
But remember, you don't have to be pouring whipped cream on yourself for JUST anyone. Hopefully, your Raquel has taught you to have some standards. Your butt doesn't belong in just any swamp!
Value your intelligence
And it's always important to value your intelligence. Don't just lead with your sexuality. Lead with your accomplishments as well. Like knowing you're not an idiot-- you own a million dollar company! Even if you have a nanny at age 24 who makes you all your meals and does your laundry!
And still find time to be silly. Life is short. Laugh. Make faces. Don't take things too seriously.
Sometimes, you just need a break
So know when you have to clock out for a bit. Remember: all the greatest people in life napped! Michael Jordan took naps. Abraham Lincoln took naps.
Just make sure that Raquel tucks you in. You deserve it.
Sometimes, you need to get deep
You also know the value of a good conversation (in between naps.)
And the importance of being yourself
Because everyone else is already taken.
But the most important thing of all...
Is to always leave them wanting more.
