When it comes to our phones, buggy technology can be extremely frustrating. Everything from dropped calls to strange things happening in your apps could be directly related to your software not being up-to-date.
Today, we'll teach you how to update your phone so that you can be 100% certain that your software is running on the latest version.
Before you get started, it is important to make sure that you have at least 50% battery power. If you do not, the software update will not download. The best practice is to simply keep it plugged in while you're updating the phone if you're near 50%.
Open up your SETTINGS app. This app is gray and looks a little bit like a clock gadget.
Enter into your GENERAL settings. This will be the first option listed once you open up the app.
Once you're in your general settings, click on the SOFTWARE UPDATE. Here, you'll be able to find out if you're already using the most up-to-date version OR you'll be instructed to download the new one.
If an update is available, click DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL and follow the instructions you're given after.
Hooray! You've done it! Now SHARE this with all of your friends so they can be updated too!
