Celebs Are Donating To Planned Parenthood In Mike Pence's Name

Mike Pence could soon be a top donor for the organization.

Vice President elect Mike Pence has been ironically credited to thousands of dollars pouring into Planned Parenthood.

If you're like the rest of us, you think that this is seriously strange, right? Well, in the clapback of the century, Katy Perry and other celebrities have decided to donate to the cause in Taylor Pence's name.

Since the beginning of the election, both Trump and Pence have been very transparent about their opinion on abortion. Both men have openly stated that they are vigorously pro-life and plan to make it increasingly difficult for a woman to have a choice in the matter. Pence has taken it one step further by stating that he would love to see the repeal of Roe vs. Wade and has consistently vote against all reproductive freedom.

Obviously infuriated, several women have come to the frontlines to express their disgust and disbelief in the choices of the newly appointed duo. Vowing to make a stand in one way or another, celebrities like Katy Perry have donated thousands of dollars in Pence's name as a form of retaliation.

In an instagram post captioned: "I am making a public donation to Planned Parenthood for the teenage me who made several visits to first a clinic in Santa Barbara and then Los Angeles, CA to educate myself on my sexual health, a subject I had little to no information on because of my sheltered upbringing. I had no idea how things worked down there, and had no idea how to make a plan for them."

After making a donation, the donor receives a certification of donation. In this case, Mike Pence is about to receive a multitude of certificates thanking him for the literal thousands of dollars that have been donated to the cause.

Jamie King, Amy Schumer, Amber Rose Tamblyn and Ashley Hinsaw have followed suit and reposted an image reading "You can make a donation to Planned Parenthood in Mike Pence's name and he'll receive the certificate of the donation. [address] Office of Governor Mike Pence State House Room 206 Indianapolis, IN 46204-2797 I'm just saying."
