J.K. Rowling, celebs

Prepare for another binge guys.

The Short of It:

Here's something that will tide Potter fans over until the release of the Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. J.K. Rowling, author of the Harry Potter series, just announced that she'll be releasing a series of short e-books on her website Pottermore this coming September.

The Longer Version of It

This year will be huge for Harry Potter fans. With the debate of the stage play Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, the cinematic release of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them and the publication of "History of Magic in North America," the author who penned the Harry Potter series continues to dole out tales of the Wizarding World, keeping plenty of Potterheads occupied. Now, Hogwarts is getting another story. Rowling's website announced that it would be launching a new series of ebook shorts about the Wizarding World and Hogwarts won't be left out.

Warner Bros. Pictures/ Eddie Redmayne stars in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them set to release in November

Readers will get to learn more about shady Hogwarts professors, Potions Master Horace Slughorn, Dolores Umbridge and Quirinus Quirrell and narrow in on even darker sides of magic in Short Stories from Hogwarts: Power, Politics and Pesky Poltergeists. Rowling's other short Short Stories from Hogwarts: Heroism, Hardship and Dangerous Hobbies will allow readers a closer look into favorited professors like Minerva McGonagall and Remus Lupin. Lastly, the third book Hogwarts: An Incomplete and Unreliable Guide will give fans a walk through the school itself, exploring the residents who've remained at the school and the troves of hidden secrets and gems. (Fingers crossed we learn more about Moaning Myrtle).
