Celebrate these Black women-owned brands today and every day!

It’s National Black Business Month! The observance began in 2004, when Historian John William Templeton and engineer Frederick E. Jordan Sr marked the month to counteract negative policies affecting Black businesses. While some Black-owned businesses continue to thrive, the COVID-19 pandemic saw a 40 percent drop in Black business owners. Now more than ever, it’s the perfect time to support Black business.

In true Women.com fashion, we are focusing on Black women-owned businesses that you can shop and share this month to celebrate. These small boutique businesses focus on quality, ethicality, and beauty in all of their products. From swimwear to ceramics, we’ve compiled a list of 31 Black women-owned brands that will delight you with lovingly handcrafted items for your body, home, and more!
