Say Goodbye To Flat Hair In Your 50s & Copy Jennifer Aniston's Easy Volumizing Hack
Jennifer Aniston has long been the object of envy for what has become her iconic hair. The actor inspired "The Rachel" back in the '90s, which led to hairstylists across the globe hacking away at their clients' hair to recreate Aniston's voluminous shoulder-length layers displayed on the TV sitcom "Friends."
Now, the actor is sharing her easy hair-volumizing hack that's sure to give flat, limp hair some body within mere seconds — and in such a cool way. In a 13-second clip on X, Aniston, who looked like she had somewhere else to be, simply flipped her hair upside down and from side to side as one stylist added a touch of hairspray while another blew it out with a blow dryer. Once they were done, she flipped her tresses back in one swift motion, gave it a quick finishing touch, and was heading out of the room. "And THAT'S how you get 'the Rachel look,'" an X user commented on the video. While another simply said, "Just perfect!"

While she's known for having great hair, Aniston, like many women over 50, has experienced some of the natural changes that can come with age, but with volumizing hair hacks such as this, she keeps her hair looking bouncy and thick while she's on the go. Fans of course have noticed. In the comments, another person added, "Listen, I have grown up with Jen and yes, she's an amazing actress but man this girl always had great hair! This video just proves it!"
There's more to Aniston's voluminous hair
While trying her easy volumizing hack is one way to recreate Aniston's fabulous hair, she also swears by the products from her hair care line, LolaVie. "I think our hair is a big part of our expression — of how we feel," she told Forbes. "So, it was really important for me to see proper hair care and to have products that had multiple benefits." From the brand's Peptide Plumping Volume formulas to its Mega Volume Wash Day Essentials, they're designed to boost hair density and fullness. Aniston, who has had a full hair transformation, might be walking proof the products work, but she's also received plenty of positive feedback from consumers. "I didn't even expect the amount of people that come up to me that do and just go on and on about how it's changed their hair and they couldn't be more grateful," she told the outlet.
Now that she's older, Aniston, who at 50 didn't want to go gray, says there's more to maintaining her iconic hair than quick hacks and quality hair care products — and that's simply taking the time to treat her hair and scalp well. "I went through a moment a couple years ago where a lot of my friends, as we started into that wonderful phase of life, started to lose our hair," Aniston previously told Forbes. "That's when I was introduced to the importance of scalp scrubs and scalp serums and keeping the skin on our head as healthy ... as the skin on our faces, on our necks, on our bodies. Healthy follicles allow for healthy hair."
