Sienna Miller's Daughter Channeled Her Mom's Iconic Early Aughts Style For Rare Red Carpet Moment

Marlowe Sturridge, Sienna Miller's teenage daughter, is all grown up. While Sienna Miller's iconic style doesn't always land with her daughter, Sturridge appears to have inherited some of her mom's free-spirited sense of style. At the London world premiere of Miller's HBO series "War" in September 2026, the mother-daughter duo each had their own unique fashion moment during a rare red-carpet appearance together.

The "Layer Cake" actor opted for a strapless black feathered gown by Dilara Findikoglu, while Sturridge channeled her mom's iconic early aughts high-low boho style, in a yellow graphic tee, slip midi skirt, ballet flats, and an eye-catching Chloé Paddington leather bag. The Phoebe Philo-designed shoulder bag, featuring an oversized gold padlock and equestrian-inspired straps, is a revival of the 2000s style that was once the cultural zeitgeist. It's a look we've seen before, when slouchy, hardware-embellished bags, vaunting the labels of Juicy Couture, Baby Phat, and Kathy Van Zeeland, were all the rage. Of course, no one knows this better than Miller, who was photographed in 2004 and 2008 carrying a strikingly similar version from Balenciaga.

Though she doesn't quite fall into the category of nepo babies who wore their celeb mom's iconic dresses, Sturridge's high-low ensemble looked a lot like some of Miller's signature looks. The actor is well-known for her modern bohemian blends of hard and soft textiles, whether pairing babydoll dresses with skinny jeans and cowboy boots, or floaty sheer dresses with thigh-high boots.

Marlowe is a 'fashion monster'

Marlowe Sturridge, who turned 14 in July 2026, is already proving that her mom's style genes run in the family. In 2024, Sienna Miller told The Guardian that the teen has a great sense of style and loves fashion, describing her as "a little fashion monster," and added that "she's so stylish." However, she can be quite the critic when assessing her mother's looks. "She's like a young Anna Wintour in her total disdain for some of the things I wear," the "Burnt" actor said. "In New York she thought I was mortifying. She wishes I would brush my hair. Although now that we're back in England she's starting to appreciate the undone-ness."

Speaking with British Vogue, the actor recalled trying on what she thought was a beautiful blue suede Chloé jacket with a cape, only for the look to prompt a sarcastic remark from her daughter. "So, I took it off. I do feel like I've got this great usurper in my midst," Miller said.

Nonetheless, Sturridge happens to like several pieces from her mom's closet. After all, growing up with a fashionable mom like Miller means having access to a wardrobe filled with iconic looks. These days, Sturridge also gets to borrow from another style trendsetter, Alexa Chung, the fiancé of her father, Tom Sturridge. "She's got it all going on. She's very cool," Miller told British Vogue of her daughter. "She says she likes bottom halves from me and top halves from Alexa."
