She Was Everyone's '80s Crush & At 76, Victoria Principal Is Still Stunning

Victoria Principal was the beauty of her day, winning hearts as a model and as the formidable Pamela Barnes Ewing in the hit soap "Dallas" throughout the late '70s and '80s. For fans and fellow actors, she was a common celebrity crush; she famously dated the Bee Gees' younger brother Andy Gibb.
But it was her striking appearance; almond-shaped eyes, a glowing smile, and red hair that made her a standout. That striking appearance was owed to her highly regimented wellness and beauty routine. In 1979, she told D Magazine that she exercised every morning and swam every night, and regularly received professional facials to maintain her complexion. And though it may now be considered an outdated Boomer beauty trend, she was a huge fam of using Noxema facial cream. She also got monthly haircuts and dye jobs to keep her tresses looking fresh.

It's been nearly 40 years since Principal's final appearance in "Dallas" in 1987. Though she continued to star in guest roles on several shows like "Hawaii Five-O" and "Home Improvement" after the show's end, she ultimately stepped away from the spotlight and focus on entrepreneurial pursuits. Still, as seen in an image posted to her Instagram account in August 2026, she remains as beautiful as ever in her 70s.

As seen in the photo, Principal's hair is gorgeously styled with trendy bangs and flipped ends. She's also clearly confident enough to post a snap of herself with what appears to be little-to-no makeup. She's clearly one of the older celebs who aren't playing by society's beauty rules and is unapologetic about it. "Gorgeous as ever!" an Instagram user gushed. Another fan commented, "Still beautiful."

Victoria Principal enjoys DIY beauty

After wrapping up her stint on "Dallas", Victoria Principal ventured into the business world. Her passion for beauty culminated in kickstarting her own skincare and makeup line in 1991, known as Principal Secret. And it seemed operating her own beauty business for more than 30 years has taught Principal a thing or two about taking care of your skin. "More is not better. If you think that you're looking dry, or dehydrated, don't put on more. ... Hydrate!" the two-time Golden Globe nominee exclusively shared with Extra.

But Principal's love for the beauty space began at a very young age, when she began experimenting and doing DIY facials with cooking products on her family. Years later, Principal became determined to enter the beauty world after experiencing acne. Eventually, she found the root of the problem, and was motivated to recreate and share the products she used to the world. From successful actor to noted beauty mogul, Victoria Principal is certainly a gorgeous woman of many talents.
