In the short clip, Joanna showed herself seated while her daughter, Emmie Kay, gave her a makeover.
Although Joanna Gaines is an ageless beauty going makeup-free, she had nothing but positive feedback after her daughter finally put down the makeup brush. "When my 16-year-old asked if she could do my makeup this morning, I was in. Emmie Kay, you're hired," Joanna gushed in the caption, and the results speak for themselves. Joanna's skin looked glowy and flawless, and it's truly giving off 'your skin but better' vibes. Emmie Kay Gaines may have a promising future in the beauty industry, though it seems she's simply a multi-talented individual.

Before Joanna Gaines showed the world her daughter's burgeoning makeup skills, she shared that Emmie Kay also has a knack for baking. In a 2019 Instagram post, Joanna snapped a picture of a then nine-year-old Emmie baking cookies with their youngest son, Crew. In the caption, the media star revealed that Emmie didn't pull out a recipe from a cookbook and, instead, brainstormed one on the spot. "She was determined to make up her own cookie recipe ... Let's just say this was one of my favorite cookies I've ever tasted!" Joanna praised in the caption.
And it seems Emmie's love of the culinary arts has continued on, as she enthusiastically participated in making Korean dishes alongside her mother back in 2021. She was all smiles and laughter as she helped her mother roll the dough to make red bean mochi on a segment of "Magnolia Table with Joanna Gaines". But no matter which path Emmie Kay decides to go down, it's clear the future is bright for her and the rest of the Gaines family.
