Add Women on Google:

Angie Dickinson is undoubtedly one of the Hollywood greats, and the retired actor, who was born in 1931, is inching closer to becoming a centenarian. Similar to how we wondered what '70s star Kristy McNichol looks like since retiring from acting, it's reasonable to be curious about what Dickinson's been up to, and what she looks like today.

Born in 1931, the actor is a legend who has left a memorable legacy in her hit films. From "Police Woman" to "Dressed to Kill", Dickinson has had a long and storied career on the silver screen, stunning audiences with her charm and beauty. The two-time Golden Globe winner retired from acting in 2009, however, and has rarely been seen out in public since then.

The most recent image of Dickinson was taken in 2023, when she attended the TCM Classic Film Festival. At the time, the "Gun the Man Down" star was 92, and she certainly appeared younger than her years. Dickinson was all smiles as she waved at the cameras, her mind still as sharp as ever while engaging with reporters on the red carpet. There can be no doubt that Dickinson looks spectacular in her 90s, though we're now wondering what her secret is to living such a long life.

Angie Dickinson's secret to reaching your 90s

Similar to how fellow actor Eva Marie Saint credits her longevity to one easy thing, Angie Dickinson has her own secret to her long life. The "Rio Bravo" star happily shared the simple method she used to stay healthy for so long. In an exclusive spread with Woman's World, Dickinson held nothing back. "I'm largely a vegetarian — except for occasional country fried chicken," the three-time Emmy nominee quipped, before adding, "I don't eat a big dinner. I sleep eight hours a night." And the most important thing of all for Dickinson is to "stay out of trouble".

But aside from a healthy lifestyle, a long life means many life lessons, and Dickinson has plenty to impart. The "Ocean's 11" actor's extensive experience in Hollywood and the tragedy of losing her daughter in 2007 have taught her to appreciate what life has to offer. "I've learned to never miss a sunset if it's possible. I've learned to be kind when I want to swear like hell. And I've learned to just stop talking when I've said enough."
