In the interview with People in 2015, the "Practical Magic" star explained her definition of beautiful was a bit different, saying, "The people I find most beautiful are the ones who aren't trying." The actor, who has long been known as one of the most down-to-earth celebs, wanted to remind women that true confidence comes from authenticity rather than effort and facade. Her words serve as a refreshing reminder that sometimes the most captivating quality a woman can possess is having the courage to just be herself and be a bit more understanding toward others. 

When you look at Sandra Bullock's words, you might think that she's simply telling women to throw in the towel on effort altogether. But the actor further explained in the interview that beauty shouldn't just be limited to describing one's appearance. But she shared with People, "Real beauty is quiet. Especially in this town. It's just hard not to say, 'Oh, I need to look like that.'...No, be a good person, be a good mom, do a good job with the lunch. Let someone cut in front of you who looks like they're in a bigger hurry."
