You may know Giada De Laurentiis as a cooking aficionado, a Food Network staple known for showcasing her finger-licking recipes to her hordes of adoring fans. Although her life does revolve largely around food, De Laurentiis' face transformation from her TV debut to now has also resulted in further comparisons between herself and her daughter, Jade De Laurentiis. Jade has truly grown into a carbon copy of her mother, so much so that you're certain to be seeing double.

As seen in the image above, the similarities between mother and daughter could never have been clearer. Both women share the same brown hair, with Jade sharing her mother's eyes and smile. And based on Giada's Instagram account, mother and daughter have a close tight-knit bond, with plenty of photos and videos of the pair smiling and spending time together. Their close relationship is certainly reminiscent of these adorable pics of Bindi Irwin and her daughter Grace, heart-warming and wholesome to a T.

Giada De Laurentiis could not be happier for her daughter, as turning 18 means the completion of more important life milestones. And in an Instagram carousel, the media personality posted in May 2026, De Laurentiis celebrated her daughter's high school graduation, posting pictures of the event. "She did it! What an unbelievable milestone for our girl, our world changer, our graduate," the accomplished food writer gushed in the caption, showing just how proud she is. 

And the three-time Daytime Emmy winner is intent on keeping her fans updated on her daughter's next steps. In an exclusive sit-down with People, De Laurentiis revealed that Jade will be attending the prestigious New York University, though she did not detail what her daughter will be studying. Despite her daughter's accomplishments, there's some part of the food writer that laments her daughter growing up. "It's really exciting, but I think it's also incredibly emotional because everything I do with her I feel like is one of the last times I'm going to do it in this way." It's something that every mother feels whenever their child flies the nest, but we're sure that the bond between mother and daughter will only get stronger.
