Lindsay Lohan & Ayesha Curry Have One Of The Sweetest Lowkey Friendships In Hollywood

While the paparazzi would certainly go wild over any hint of high-profile Hollywood romances, Hollywood friendships are more of a rarity. In the cutthroat dog-eat-dog world of entertainment, it seems highly unlikely any genuine friendships could flourish. But renowned actor Lindsay Lohan and businesswoman Ayesha Curry have gone against the grain and formed a tight friendship. Similar to how these Hollywood BFFs nailed the coordinating outfit trend in 2025, the pair's bond has proven both sweet and heartwarming, though they met by pure chance. 

This unlikely friendship started at a restaurant in Dubai, where the chef, Michael Mina, urged Lohan's husband, Bader Shammas, to arrange a meet-up for Lohan and Curry. And as predicted by Mina, the two women got on swimmingly. "We were talking for hours," the "Mean Girls" star exclusively shared with People, "We were like, 'What time is it?' ... I was like, "Oh my God, that was so fun. I love this woman." They continued to build on their friendship, growing so close that Lohan thought that no one else but Curry should be her son's godparent.  

Although she might be known more as the wife of NBA legend Stephen Curry, Ayesha Curry was once a Hollywood actor with a burgeoning career of her own. Ayesha has since put acting to the side to focus on her children and other entrepreneurial pursuits, but when Lohan offered her a spot on the rom-com "Irish Wish", she couldn't refuse. In fact, Ayesha credited Lohan with inspiring her to return to acting. "She's my biggest supporter when it comes to me reigniting my acting career. She's been my biggest champion there, so that's been really great," Ayesha revealed exclusively to E! News. 

Moreover, being on set has only brought the two friends closer together. Ayesha even praised the "Freaky Friday" actor for her ability to navigate motherhood and a busy work schedule with grace and efficiency, hinting at the career implications of pregnancy and motherhood that affects celebs. "She's somehow in [motherhood's] early days, but she knows how to balance that work-life balance," the businesswoman gushed to the publication. And it seems the appreciation and love is mutual, as Lohan dubbed Ayesha her "best lifetime friend."
