Paulina Porizkova Isn't Comfortable Trying To 'Resist To Age' Anymore

Czechoslovakian-Swedish actor and former supermodel Paulina Porizkova is a textbook case of aging gracefully. Back in her heyday, she took Hollywood by storm, appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated twice, landing a record-setting modeling contract with Estée Lauder, and taking on numerous movie roles. That was over four decades ago, and Porizkova has remarkably retained her striking model looks and physique, proving she's aging like fine wine.

The "Arizona Dream" actor is her most candid self on social media, sharing her personal life, workout sessions, and lingerie-clad photos that showcase her figure, even with scars from her lateral hip replacement. From the looks of it, Porizkova maintains a healthy lifestyle and is comfortable with the body she has now, slipping into her 60s seamlessly. But the former model says she's not willing to go to extremes to resist the natural aging process. In a June 2026 Instagram post, Porizkova followed up on an earlier post about being at peace with her weight gain. However, she was surprised that some followers assumed she was looking for weight-loss advice.

"I know I can get rid of the weight," she wrote. "I can eat less and work out more. I can get liposuction, or freeze my extra fat off in little bricks. My point was and IS: to resist to age takes an awful lot of time and money. And at this point in my life I'm more comfortable in this body than I've ever been. More grateful for it. And I have a ton of other things I want to do with my time and money."

Paulina Porizkova appreciates her body

Porizkova, like many 20-something models, was blessed with an immaculate figure and didn't have to do much to maintain it during her early modeling days. Sharing a few throwback photos of her toned, lean, modelesque silhouette on Instagram, the "Wedding Bell Blues" actor reflected on how carefree she was back then. Referring to her younger self (in a video voiceover), she said, "This woman didn't do any work to look like this. She took her body for granted, she fed it crap, she didn't let it get enough sleep, and exercise — no thanks that's boring."

She also revealed how insecure she often felt despite her celebrated looks. "She was also always slightly ashamed of this body. Yeah, comparing to others like her, she always found her own kind of lacking; her legs weren't as shapely, her knees were chubby, her thighs too thick, her boobs not large enough," she continued.

Like many celebs who take working out & improving their health seriously, Porizkova says these days she has to work hard — the natural way — to maintain the body she has now, and she couldn't be happier. "This one (her current self), works hard for this body. She hits the heavyweights two to three times a week, and Pilates in between, and cardio. She feeds it food that is good for her and sometimes even food she enjoys," she said, adding, "This one really appreciates her body and all of the years that it has held up and carried her brain."
