Women Over 40 Stole The Show At Taylor Swift & Travis Kelce's Wedding

Pop icon Taylor Swift's grand wedding to football star Travis Kelce is the topic on everyone's lips. And although the bride's look was obviously most important, the public was also laser-focused on Swift's guest list, which was comprised of the who's who of Hollywood. In fact, what the A-listers invited to the "Shake It Off" hitmaker's wedding chose to wear drew just as much attention. Selena Gomez's gorgeous gold dress that had a sentimental secret meaning, while many of the top beauty looks at Taylor Swift's rehearsal dinner were snatched by some of her closest pals. 

However, the seasoned celebs over 40 were not to be outdone. From Jennifer Lopez to Miranda Lambert, they pulled out all the stops for the Grammy winner's big day, and the results speak for themselves. These stylish ladies definitely didn't let age stop them exploring their choices for what is likely to be the wedding of the year, while showing their younger counterparts how it's done. 

Jennifer Lopez has long been known for her terrific fashion instincts, which were on full display in the outfit she selected for Taylor Swift's wedding. In a post on Instagram, the "Play" hitmaker confidently posed for her fans in a dress with a figure-hugging black tank top and a long, shiny leather skirt. But her jewels really stole the show, with the singer and actor choosing an eye-popping diamond necklace and dangling, matching diamond earrings. With Jennifer Lopez renowned for wearing eye-wateringly expensive outfits, we shouldn't be surprised that she hit the nail on the head with this (presumably pretty pricey) ensemble.

Jessica Alba somehow gets more gorgeous with each year that passes, and she showed off her impressively toned physique in a dress that really accentuated her figure. The gorgeous gown in question had a black halter top with a plunging neckline, but the glittering, sequined gold skirt was what really caught the eye. The "Honey" star pulled her hair into a stylish high ponytail, alongside accessorizing with silver bangles and dangling silver earrings. Similar to Jennifer Lopez, she eagerly showed off the outfit to her millions of fans on Instagram, with a caption congratulating the happy couple on their special day.

Country star Miranda Lambert attended Taylor Swift's wedding to Travis Kelce alongside her own husband, Brendan McLoughlin. And while he looked dapper in a tuxedo, the "Kerosene" hitmaker selected a black halter dress that fit her like a glove. The dress had lace trimmings near the top and beneath the bust, while Lambert let it speak for itself by only wearing rings as accessories. With her blonde hair loose, the Grammy winner paired her ensemble with a whitish-gray pouch handbag and a pair of glittery black pumps. She looked stunning. 

Former professional soccer player Abby Wambach showed up to Taylor Swift's wedding alongside her wife Glennon Doyle, and the celebrity couple looked incredibly sharp posing together for photos on Instagram. With her short-cropped blonde hair swept to the back, Wambach wore a chic tuxedo for the event. Doyle, on the other hand, chose a truly gorgeous evening gown in pastel blue, with silver sequins. She paired it with a simple silver necklace and a diamond bracelet. There can be no doubt these two were dressed to impress.

Even with all of the celebrity guests upping the ante when it came to their outfit selections for Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding day, Hugh Grant's wife, Anna Elisabet Eberstein, wasn't outshone. As seen above, the celebrity couple was spotted in New York City during the glitzy event, giving us a clear look at Eberstein's outfit-of-choice. Similar to Miranda Lambert, she wore a black halter neck dress with geometric patterns outlined in dark orange and pink. Grant's wife kept her hair back off her face in a low bun, as the "Love Actually" star walked beside her in a classic tuxedo.

Kimberly Williams-Paisley demonstrated that she had a real eye for fashion when she showed her many fans on Instagram what she was wearing to Taylor Swift's nuptials. Williams-Paisley donned a beautiful off-the-shoulder evening gown decorated with dark blue flowers, and accessorized it with a simple gold necklace and a pair of dangling earrings. In the caption, the "Nashville" star confirmed that the dress was designed by Theia Couture, as well as crediting her wardrobe stylist, makeup artist, and hair stylist for bringing this dreamy look to life.

In an Instagram post celebrating Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's big day, actor Charlie Day proudly posed beside his wife, Mary Elizabeth Ellis. The "New Girl" star looked lovely in her strapless pink dress, which bore emerald sequins and colorful floral motifs. She completed the look with strappy pink heels, a layered necklace, and gold earrings. If Ellis was aiming to stand out among a sea of one-tone neutral colors, then she definitely accomplished her goal. 

Clearly, halter neck dresses were all the rage at Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's wedding, since actor and director Elizabeth Banks also selected such a gown to attend the momentous event. In an Instagram post, "The Hunger Games" star posed leaning against a wall, in a cobalt blue silk halter dress with eye-catching patterns. Banks paired the unique gown with strappy black heels and simple stud earrings, and slicked her short hair back off her face completely.

Although Cindy Crawford didn't post the full outfit she wore on Instagram, NYC-based hairdressers Franklin's did give us a good look at it. Franklin's was credited for doing the supermodel's hair for Taylor Swift's big day, and in the picture showing off their hard work, Crawford donned a one-shoulder evening gown, with a sparkly diamond bangle adorning her left wrist. She left her neck bare, though we do get a hint of the dangling earrings she chose, peeking out from behind her tousled locks. As such, the iconic model showed that sometimes, keeping things simple is best.
