Iconic '80s and '90s supermodels like Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, Heidi Klum, and Kimora Lee Simmons prove good genes run in their bloodline, as their gorgeous offspring are now all grown up and bearing features just as striking as theirs. Many of these next-gen celebs have continued their famous mothers' legacies by taking to the runway and pursuing modeling careers, while others have chosen other creative paths into acting and singing.

Those like Kaia Gerber (daughter of Cindy Crawford), Lila Moss (daughter of Kate Moss), and sisters Gigi and Bella Hadid (daughters of Yolanda Hadid), who have inherited supermodel-quality anatomy, have gone on to sign with major modeling agencies, work with luxury fashion houses and, as the current 'it' girls in the industry, have graced top magazine covers across the globe. Others, like Ever Gabo Anderson (daughter of Milla Jovovich), have embarked on an acting career, while Alexa Ray Joel (daughter of Christie Brinkley) has followed in the footsteps of her father, Billy Joel, to pursue music.

While it's no easy feat stepping into the shoes of the iconic ladies whose beauty, charisma, and commanding runway presence led to the term "supermodels" gaining prominence during the '80s and '90s, many of their children are proving they, too, are worthy of such recognition. From uncanny family resemblances to their own stunning physiognomies, modern style, and individuality, these celebrity offspring are helping keep the fashion and entertainment world an evolving and dynamic one.

Kaia Gerber isn't just as gorgeous as Cindy Crawford, she's also among the nepo babies who look just like their moms, inheriting Crawford's signature brows, striking bone structure, and voluminous brunette hair. "I look at my daughter and notice that her hair is shiny and healthy looking — she has my old hair, and I want it back!" Crawford once joked to InStyle.

Then there's Gerber's commanding runway charisma. She has become quite the supermodel, landing a Versace modeling gig at age 10, and now dominates runways for Saint Laurent, Alexander McQueen, and Chanel. The mother-daughter duo has even walked catwalks together, namely a Versace Spring Runway Show and Vogue's Forces of Fashion.

Grace Burns, the stunning daughter of supermodel Christy Turlington and actor-filmmaker Ed Burns, made her runway debut at 19 at the British Vogue X LuisaViaRoma show in Italy. Before then, she had already taken on smaller projects. "I was officially allowed to begin modeling at 18, that was the age my mom always had in mind," Burns told HOMMES Magazine. 

She later made a major appearance at Milan Fashion Week, walking for Alberta Ferretti. The rising model has also been featured in countless magazines, including Perfect Magazine, MUSE Magazine, and POP Magazine.

Leni Olumi Klum inherited just the right mix of model-esque features from her iconic mother, Heidi Klum, while also possessing a striking look of her own, highlighted by her gorgeous blue eyes. She embarked on a modeling career, appearing alongside her mother in a 2021 issue of Vogue Germany, and an Intimissimi lingerie campaign in 2022.

She has appeared in other modeling projects, including opening Berlin Fashion Week, walking for Dolce & Gabbana, headlining for Dior Beauty and Fila, and gracing the covers of Glamour, Harper's Bazaar, and Rollacoaster.

Sailor Brinkley-Cook (far right) shares similar blond hair, blue eyes, and even the same smile as mom Christie Brinkley. It's no surprise she pursued modeling, walking alongside her mom at New York Fashion Week in 2019, and posing for a Sports Illustrated issue in 2017, alongside big sis, Alexa Ray Joel (centre).

Joel, meanwhile, took a different creative route, building a music career inspired by her famous father, Billy Joel. She released an EP, "Sketches," in 2006 and several singles, leading to performances at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Bonnaroo Music & Arts Festival, and Albany Riverfront Jazz Festival.

Lila Grace Moss has taken the reins from her supermodel mom, Kate Moss, and forged a path of her own. Though initially discouraged by her mother, Lila Grace Moss began working at 14. "My mom always put me off [modeling]," she told British Vogue. "She was always like, 'If you wanna do it, you can, but I wouldn't recommend it.'"

Now signed to the "Kate Moss Agency," she has walked runways for Miu Miu, and Marc Jacobs. She and her mother also walked in the 2021 Fendi Show, the 2024 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, and stunned on the 2026 Met Gala red carpet.

Clementine Vaughn seized the opportunity to chase her dream career of modeling by moving to New York City. She told British Vogue in 2024, "I've seen the end of success. I want to see the start of it — the hustle and bustle."

So far, she has shared the spotlight with her mother, Claudia Schiffer, appearing on the September 2024 cover of POP Magazine. Schiffer later posted the cover on Facebook, noting she was "honored" to share the experience with her daughter, while also highlighting her daughter's creative ambitions. "She is a budding creative and really wishes to be behind the camera," Schiffer wrote.

Kimora Lee Simmons wasted no time introducing her girls to the fashion world. They've been walking the catwalk beside their mom during the designer's "Baby Phat" runway shows since they were toddlers.

Ming Lee Simmons, a model managed under One Management, graduated from New York University with a degree in fashion and is set on launching her own fashion label. Meanwhile, younger sister, Aoki Lee Simmons, is quickly rising in the modeling industry, landing her first magazine cover with Teen Vogue in 2023, and appearing as the face of the Tommy Hilfiger Spring 2023 collection. 

Sharing a jaw-dropping resemblance to her supermodel mother, Milla Jovovich, Ever Gabo Anderson has had little trouble snagging modeling and acting roles. She has appeared in numerous editorial spreads and on magazine covers, including for Elle, Flaunt, and W Magazine. Then there are her campaign projects, ranging from features with Dior, Chloé, and Marc Jacobs.

The talented offspring has also built a pretty buzzy acting career, landing major film roles in "Peter Pan & Wendy" as Wendy Darling, "Black Widow" as young Natasha Romanoff, and "Resident Evil: The Final Chapter" as young Alicia.

Former model Yolanda Hadid introduced the world to two of the most influential Gen Z supermodels in the 21st century. Gigi Hadid began modeling at age two, before signing with IMG Models at 16. Her breakout came in 2014 with a Tom Ford campaign and she later became a face of Maybelline and a Victoria's Secret Angel.

Meanwhile, Bella Hadid, who is known for her bold hair color transformations, signed with IMG Models when she was 17. With her avant-garde, "edgy" look, she shot to stardom modeling for Prada, Versace, and Chanel. By 2016, she was named "Model of the Year" and had appeared in campaigns for Fendi and Marc Jacobs, along with countless Vogue issues.

Anansa Sims, like her mother, Beverly Johnson (the first Black model to appear on the cover of American Vogue), was determined to leave her mark in the modeling world. After signing with Wilhelmina Models, she went on to become one of the pioneers in plus-size modeling. Sims, an advocate for body positivity, appeared in a groundbreaking nude feature for Glamour in 2009.

"My mom contributed so much to society by showing that Black is beautiful. Now I realize my contribution ...  showing women that it is okay to have some meat on your bones and it is okay to love yourself that way," Sims told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
