Princess Beatrice's Sheer 2017 Party Dress Surely Wasn't Buckingham Palace Approved
Princess Beatrice has somewhat built a reputation for herself when it comes to fashion. From outdated outfits she's worn that takes us back in time to the whimsical fascinator she wore to Kate Middleton and Prince William's wedding, Princess Beatrice has served some unforgettable looks. In fact, she makes it onto the list of the most embarrassing royal fashion faux pas more than once. Her outfit that she wore to the V&A summer party in 2017 is no exception.

Princess Beatrice showed up to the V&A summer party in 2017 wearing a very sheer navy dress. The dress consisted of lace and crepe and seemingly revealed pretty much every part of the royal's body. While she looked great in the dress, it's almost certain that it wasn't approved by Buckingham Palace. It's definitely a faux pas for a royal to wear something that revealing.
Princess Beatrice stole the show at Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding
This isn't the only time Princess Beatrice wore something that likely wasn't approved by The Firm. Princess Beatrice and her sister, Princess Eugenie, stole the show at Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding in 2011. While the focus should have been on the newlyweds, the sisters wore distracting fascinators on their heads, which had everyone talking. Princess Beatrice's fascinator was pale pink, to match her outfit. It really looked like a pair of antlers, though, as it was tall and curved. Her sister also wore an outlandish fascinator, which resembled a bird's nest.
Princess Beatrice toned things down for her own wedding to Edoardo Mozzi in 2020. She wore a dress on loan from her grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II. According to People, the Queen previously wore the dress to the premiere of "Lawrence of Arabia" in December 1962. Princess Beatrice altered the dress to suit her needs for her wedding day. She added organza sleeves and modified the original silhouette. The princess looked elegant in the special dress. We hope that her marriage continues strong, because there are glaring signs that her marriage is on the rocks.
