Before & After Pics Show How Much Christina Haack's Style Has Changed Since Her HGTV Debut

Christina Haack, the star and lifeblood of HGTV, started out as a house flipper on the show "Flip or Flop." Haack became a reality star alongside her then-husband, Tarek El Moussa, and the two became household names as they shared the tough world of flipping houses for profit. Along the way, Haack has welcomed three children, ended three marriages, and created her own brand and empire. Since she's come such a long way, fans have been able to track her journey, including her fashion evolution. Haack has completely transformed her style since those early days of "Flip or Flop."

Haack is like a completely different woman. In the pilot episode of "Flip or Flop," filmed in 2011, she toured a home improvement store with Tarek. Haack wore bootcut denim with a black and grey tank top that flared at the waist. And, of course, popular in the early 2010s, Haack carried a heavily branded Louis Vuitton bag on her shoulder. Her hair was shoulder-length and a bright, yellow blonde tone. Fast forward to 2024, when Haack was filming "The Flip Off," her later reality show where she competed against Tarek and his wife, Heather Rae El Moussa. Haack gave a tour of her newly renovated kitchen in a short, black pleated skirt with a tonal, black tank top. Her hair was long and a cooler, ashy blonde that flattered her well.

Christina Haack's style has become very sleek and feminine

Christina Haack's style transformation has come leaps and bounds since she first became a star back in the 2010s. For one, Haack has undergone a complete hair transformation over the years that's a sight to see. She opted for longer hair that adds a touch of glamour to her overall vibe, thanks to the help of hair extensions. In fact, Haack is nearly unrecognizable when she ditches her extensions, looking more reminiscent of her early days on TV.

Haack has also found her style footing. When Haack was a new star, she didn't quite get the expectations of fashion and dressing for reality TV. In her defence, she was a house flipper, and so her wardrobe was more functional and practical. She wore flats, jeans, and basic tops. Now, with Haack as a bona fide star, she's upped the ante on her reality TV shows. Even though she still works in design and flipping, it's clear that she's more of a celebrity presence on set rather than a hands-on helper, and her clothing choices reflect this. She doesn't shy away from a leggy look, both on set and on the red carpet. Plus, Haack's love for glam has only amplified, and her penchant for luxurious, feminine outfits has become one of her updated style notes. While she looked cute and approachable in her pioneering days on HGTV, Haack looks like a total stunner now, and her sartorial evolution has served her well.
