The Simple Way Jennifer Garner Banishes Forehead Wrinkles (No Needles Necessary)

When it seems like everyone in Hollywood is getting Botox or lip injections to prevent or obscure their wrinkles, Jennifer Garner is breaking the mold by doing the opposite. Rather than undergoing plastic surgery or other invasive cosmetic treatments, the "13 Going on 30" actress has chosen to age gracefully while minimizing the signs of aging through truly unconventional means. On a recent episode of Kylie Kelce's "Not Gonna Lie" podcast, Garner admitted to having Botox done in the past, but ended up stopping since she disliked how it made her look. Instead, she has another answer for eliminating her forehead wrinkles: bangs.

"I have creasy wrinkles ... and they're gonna have to just be there," Garner shared with Kelce. "So sometimes I get bangs." Following in the footsteps of veteran stars such as Meryl Streep and Kate Winslet in embracing the aging process and avoiding plastic surgery, the "Alias" starlet has chosen to view growing older as a sign of wisdom and good fortune. However, she isn't against the use of Botox or other injectables, exclusively telling Harper's Bazaar that "As far as injectables go, I think just find somebody fantastic and proceed with caution."

Jennifer Garner doesn't hold back when it comes to her beauty secrets

Aside from using strategic, tasteful hairstyles, the "Elektra" star fully credits certain skincare products that help maintain her appearance. In a video collaboration with Vogue, the four-time Primetime Emmy-nominee didn't mince words as she goes about her daily skincare routine. She lauds the benefits of hyaluronic acid while applying the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Hyaluronic Acid Serum, before stressing the importance of paying extra special attention to the undereye and neck areas. Garner finishes her skincare routine by putting on her sunscreen, firmly stating to the audience that it's an absolute "must" and that your skin will thank you for it later.

"Nothing looks better in your 50s than sunscreen in your 20s, ladies," Garner shares with Vogue, after spreading sunscreen down to her collarbone. Even the star's makeup routine was the definition of minimal, more focused on emphasizing her natural beauty rather than covering it under layers of thick foundation. Garner's self-confidence and firm stance on aging gracefully, while standing tall against the plastic surgery craze, are something we can all get behind.
