Erika Kirk's Face Completely Changes When She Goes Makeup-Free
Erika Kirk, wife of the late conservative influencer Charlie Kirk, has inherited quite a bit of fame and popularity since she was appointed CEO of "Turning Point USA," the conservative organization co-founded by her late husband.
Though she is often thrown into the spotlight amid unwelcome controversy, Kirk's irrefutable beauty and striking image remain uncontested. The former Miss Arizona USA contestant is frequently seen across the media looking very glammed up, wearing heavy makeup, loud hairstyles, and glitzy outfits. When she's not onstage, being interviewed, or conducting her own interviews, Kirk dials down the glam for a more natural look, trading her overdone, cakey makeup for a more minimal aesthetic. However, with her beauty pageant good looks, it isn't always easy to distinguish between her subtly done-up appearance and her natural one.
The Arizona State University alum's social media page offers real insight into the many faces of Kirk, from the sensationalized public speaker and former model, who still likes posing for the camera, to the mom at home. While many of her photos show off ethereal makeup looks, others show her in a less fussy state, often appearing makeup-free, unveiling an entirely different-looking face.
In April 2016, Kirk shared this candid makeup-free moment on Instagram, looking disheveled with bedhead hair and a bare-looking face. "...and in the mornings, sing me something soft," she wrote on the post, suggesting she had just rolled out of bed and was apparently void of any cosmetics.
The line between beauty grooming and makeup enhancement
While Erika Kirk's face completely changes when she's makeup-free, her au-naturel look can be a little deceiving, likely due to routine grooming and beauty maintenance, as observed with her perfectly arched eyebrows. "You look so refreshed and beautiful. Eyebrows look good too," an Instagram follower noted on a June 2013 post (below). Though Kirk seems to have eyeliner on her upper lash line in the photo, her otherwise fresh-faced appearance revealed smooth, unblemished skin and natural-looking lips, along with well-defined brows. Whether this is due to meticulous tweezing, microblading, or an eyebrow pencil, she certainly channeled a no-makeup look.
Kirk is known to dabble in makeup application that can yield transformative results. During the "2012 Miss USA Pageant", she admitted to Rain Cosmetics that not only does she do her own makeup, but also uses their Lifeguard Lover (bronzer) as a contouring product. "I really like to highlight my cheeks because I have a full face, and so I really like the fact that I can use something like this to just kinda tuck in my little cheekbones so you can see them and contour a little bit on my forehead and also my nose," she told the host.
That said, the mom-of-two knows a thing or two about achieving different looks with clever makeup techniques, and even how to create a natural finish using a modest, minimalistic approach.
