Why Is Cynthia Daniel So Recognizable? Cole Hauser's Wife Looks Just Like This Famous Face

Cole Hauser plays the hunky Rip Wheeler in the beloved western show "Yellowstone." On camera, Hauser's chemistry is directed at co-star Beth Dutton, played by Kelly Reilly, who has undergone a gorgeous transformation. Fans have wondered if Rip Wheeler and Beth Dutton are a couple IRL, but the real-life partners of "Yellowstone's" leading ladies prove this isn't the case. It's an apt question, since there are so many red flags from the couples on "Yellowstone." But Hauser's real-life romance is with his wife, Cynthia Daniel. With the success of "Yellowstone," fans have been seeing Hauser and Cynthia grace red carpets, and Cynthia's appearance has caused a few double-takes.

There's a very cute reason for this. Cynthia has a twin, Brittany Daniel, who is also an actor, and so the phenomenon of seeing double on the red carpet is very understandable. While Cynthia transitioned from acting to photography, the twin sisters starred in shows together when they were younger. They both appeared in the 1995 "The Basketball Diaries" and played the twins Jessica and Elizabeth Wakefield in "Sweet Valley High" from 1994-1997. Brittany went on to star in hits like the 2004 film "White Chicks" and "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," while Cynthia moved away from acting and turned her focus to photography in 1997. She runs Five Arrows Photography in Los Angeles, where she specializes in magazine features and celebrity shoots. While the two sisters have taken different career paths, Cynthia and Brittany remain close, continuing to confuse fans at events with their resemblance. 

Twins Cynthia and Brittany Daniel have remained tight-knit, even though Cynthia stepped away from acting, while Brittany continued her career in front of the camera. But the sisters really proved their bond when Brittany was diagnosed with stage IV non-Hodgkin's lymphoma in 2011. For Cynthia, watching her sister go through this diagnosis was challenging. "There were definitely moments where I thought, 'Am I going to lose my sister?'" Cynthia told People. "She was so strong, but it was so hard to watch." Brittany recovered, but the illness impacted her fertility, so Cynthia donated an egg so that her sister could start a family with her husband, Adam Touni. Thanks to this great gift, Brittany and Adam welcomed their daughter, Hope, in October 2021.

For Cynthia, this was an easy decision. "I saw it as such a simple gift I could give to her," she said, per People. "I know Brittany would do it in a split second for me. And we've always shared everything, so why not this?" It also meant that Cynthia's three children, Ryland, Colt, and Steely, whom she shares with Cole Hauser, have a cousin. And while Cynthia's no longer an actor, the success of Hauser's career, particularly "Yellowstone," means that she's back on red carpets, creating some understandable confusion over which Daniel sister is smiling back at the cameras.
