Deborra-Lee Furness' Face Has Changed So Much From Alleged Plastic Surgery
Deborra-Lee Furness has had a striking face transformation. The Australian actor looked so different in 1997, and side-by-side pics from then and 2024 prove why she can't escape allegations she's gone under the knife. In 2024, her face looked less round and she seemed to have slightly more protruding cheekbones. The bridge of the "Sleepwalking" star's nose appeared more prominent too, while her forehead skin seemed smoother and her bottom lip looked fuller.

Her evolving aesthetic could have been achieved by strategic makeup (in 2024, Furness' brows were more filled in and she wore sultry faux lashes) or non-invasive cosmetic procedures, but multiple people allege her new look could be down to plastic surgery. "Her cheeks and neck look lifted, the volume of her lips has been enhanced, and her face has been made more symmetrical. One tell-tale sign is the platysma muscles of the neck that have been cut and lifted," cosmetic injectables expert Dr. Linda Dayan speculated on Instagram in 2023. Dr. Karl-Georg Heinrich, board-certified general practitioner, speculated in a post on ddrheinrich.com that Furness may have had Botox (which can gave benefits beyond vanity) in her forehead as well as facial fillers (some of which can't be dissolved). Furness has never publicly confirmed she's had any cosmetic tweaks though.

Though Deborra-Lee Furness hasn't been super vocal about her beauty treatments or skincare secrets in interviews or social media, she did share a snap of herself with a limited edition version of Kiehl's Ultra Facial Cream (which was designed to support the non-profit Adopt Change) on Facebook in 2015. "Love this!!" the wrote in the caption. Furness didn't confirm in the caption if the moisturizer made it into her regular routine, but we do know Kiehl's makes one of Kate Middleton's favorite beauty products.
Whether or not Furness has had a little help from plastic surgery, she clearly has radiant skin. And she hasn't been scared to show it off without foundation. The actor has been spotted without makeup in public a handful of times, including in summer 2025 when Daily Mail shared candid snaps of her bare-faced in New York. Previously, in 2019, Daily Mail published photos of Furness out in the Big Apple without multiple coats of mascara on her lashes and obvious contouring on her face as she spent some time with her now former husband Hugh Jackman.
