Side-By-Side Pics Of Courteney Cox Highlight How Far She's Gone With Plastic Surgery
Courteney Cox has been very candid about plastic surgery and her use of fillers and botox. The "Friends" alum admitted that she regrets how far she took things with fillers, and admitted that she didn't look like herself. On the "Gloss Angeles" podcast in 2023, Cox shared what the journey had looked like. "You don't realize that you look a little off, so then you keep doing more because you look normal to yourself," Cox shared. "And you look in the mirror and go, 'Oh, that looks good.' You don't realize what it looks like to the outside person." She was blind to the work she was having done.
Good friends reached out and told Cox that she wasn't looking like herself. And thankfully, there are certain kinds of fillers that can be dissolved (and some that can't), and Cox had the former. "Luckily I was able to reverse most of that, and now I'm actually just older," she added. "I look at pictures of me when I thought I looked OK, and I can't believe it." So Cox has clearly moved on from that phase of her life, and has accepted things. And that's a great thing, because Cox can now join the ranks of celebrities who are confronting aging with confidence.
Courtney Cox said that she learned from her experience with filler
Courtney Cox is one of those individuals who went through a bad filler experience and decided to change things, coming out the other side with more knowledge and confidence. She admitted to People that she had a hard time accepting the reality of aging, and went overboard with filler. However, after getting it dissolved, Cox found herself in a better place about it. "So now I just embrace who I am and getting older with what God gave me, not what I was trying to change," she told the outlet, noting that the experience has actually made her feel empowered. "I am think I am at a stage of my life where it's very easy to be comfortable with who I am and who I've become and who I strive to be," she said.
But just because Cox is done with fillers doesn't mean that she's not focusing on long-term skin health. She told New Beauty that she has a few favorite treatments. "I believe in getting laser treatments like Clear + Brilliant," Cox noted. "I believe in microneedling. I think microcurrent technology makes sense to strengthen your muscles." But Cox's focus now is to be as natural as possible, and that's working for her.
