Ivanka Trump is a strong advocate of the middle part agenda. Over the years, the first daughter has crafted a personal style that shoots for a sleek, modern level of sophistication, and a component of this styling is her frequent incorporation of a center part. While the hair debate — middle parts vs side parts — For Ivanka Trump, there's no competition. It's always right down the middle. And it's easy to see why. A middle part highlights symmetry, elongates the face, and gives the overall appearance a contemporary, chic finish. For all of the outdated trends we can't believe Ivanka wore, she's certainly modernized things with her middle part. 

Trump has been skilled at shifting her image to fit the various chapters of her life. When she worked as a senior advisor to her father, Donald Trump, during his first term as president, Ivanka overhauled her style to fit within the parameters of a political space. She chopped her hair into a shoulder-length bob, donned button-up blouses and wore longer skirts. She published her 2017 self-help book, "Women Who Work," a tome that offered women advice on achieving work-life balance. But these professionalized shifts didn't come without mistakes. The book got panned, as Ivanka was accused of being an out-of-touch heiress offering working women an unrelatable career philosophy. Ivanka made makeup mistakes we couldn't ignore, and she wore several outfits that cost more than the average rent. So this personal style evolution hasn't been without its fails. 

Ivanka Trump's style evolution has continued beyond the White House. After she and her husband, Jared Kushner, stepped away from politics — they didn't join Donald Trump in the White House for his second term — the first daughter shifted her look once again. Ditching the prim and proper business attire and work ethos she promoted back in 2017, the fashion mogul worked hard to revamp her image after her father lost the 2020 election to Joe Biden. 

Part of this style evolution included updating her butter yellow hair. Ivanka rocked a middle part more than ever while traveling the world with Kushner and setting up their new home on Indian Creek Island in Miami, Florida. Her hemlines also got shorter, she sported more crop tops, and Ivanka embarked on a new party-girl era after her White House stint. She dresses younger than she has in years, and so it makes sense that part of that styling includes the more modern middle part. On rare occasions, however, she opts instead for a Millennial side part. When she and Kushner celebrated Cinco de Mayo in Valle de Bravo, Mexico in May 2024, Trump dressed up in a red, strapless gown and went for a classical look, complete with a side part, glamorous curls and red lipstick. When she traveled to Venice for the Bezos wedding in June 2025, she likewise went for a side part, which instantly brightened her face.
